Welcome to the Southeast Texas Sports (SETXsports) Forum We have a few rules that we will ask you to follow: 1) YOU MUST HAVE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS PRESENT IN YOUR PROFILE! If we see that you have removed your e-mail - your account will deleted with no hesitation! 2) ONE membership per person! Any caught with 2 accounts will have both of them terminated. Remember that there are members of all ages reading these forums. If there is any doubt in your mind whether a word may be objectionable ... find another word. Obscenity and profanity are good ways to get you banned. 4) Keep it civil! You can make your point much more attractive to others by remaining calm and intelligent. I really enjoy the military academy games. The only game I really set out to make sure that I watch is the Army/Navy game. I just love the pageantry.

As well as folks quarreling with the numbers, even though I might have gotten them directly from the teams.

At one point, we did have that. But as the year's went on, it seemed harder to get numbers needed to maintain it.

Well, I have to admit that this post will probably irritate some band parents as liltex, robanadana and ECBucFan will attest, I am not a real big band booster. But even I admit that they are part of the experience of Football Friday Nights. The problem is that most bands feel like they are the experience. That is that they feel (and if you hook theband directors to a polygraph you will see that they truly, honestly do feel) that the thousands of people who come out and pay the ticket price are there to see the band, and nothing but the band. Hence, you have the disconnect that many here have discussed.
