  1. Boy, you need a little more Jesus time if one word is gonna get you all ready to fight and stuff.
  2. Oh yeah, you a baaaaaaaad man. I am sooooooo scared of you. Give me your address and I'll send you a post card from the playoffs, boy.
  3. No, he doesn't do wagers. If you press him on an answer, he'll just hurl insults.
  4. I don't know. Last time they got loose on the net, they got 1/2 a hundred dropped on 'em.
  5. Hey you were the same one that thought that Crosby was gonna have to come up with excuses for the loss that never happened, right? In fact, if I remember correctly, the Cougars guaranteed the Broncos varsity will have something in common with their all world JV, both will have only 10 game seasons. Leave the varsity talk to the men, boy. You go put up your JV prediction thread.

  7. At the last minute, I edited it as I had JD and Shaw and JD and Cooper. However, I thought that could be interpreted as a slight against Jeremiah and decided against it. But you are right, the well runs deep.
  8. True. I'll take JD and Shaw.
  9. WO-S vs. the winner of the Class 4A, DII semifinal between the Region 1 champ and Region 2 champ.
  10. I really love it when someone comes out boasting that they have something that Coach T and the Mustangs have not seen before. With Nederland, it was this overbearing offensive line that was going to wear the Mustangs' teeny tiny line down. The result, 0 points. Fast forward to Bridge City, it was another beefy line, and a bruising running QB as well as a bruiser of a running back. The result, 0 points. Fast forward to Silsbee, where the Mustangs faced a running back with about a dozen FBS college offers, a private school all state QB and a receiver that is an A&M commit. The result, 2 points off of an offensive holding in the end zone. You see, these guys have heard it all of how their next opponent has something that they have never seen before or that they cannot be ready for. They have faced stall ball, no huddle and whatever variation you wish to think of. And I am sure that at some point this season, some team will be able to make good on that boast and raise Mustang fans' blood pressure to a dangerous level. But for most of these boys, after at least two years of hearing "we've got something you are not ready for"....well, they have shown for the most part that they are ready. And I have a feeling that they will be ready on Oct. 28. But Liberty better worry about Oct. 21, first. For mark my words, if those folks spend two weeks preparing for WO-S instead of spending this one week preparing for H-J, they will come into that game 8-1.
  11. 2nd half underway
  12. At the half, Nederland 7, Ozen 0
  13. 22-5A game from the Butch Thomas Educational Support Center in Beaumont at 2
  14. Given the alternatives, a prediction thread 2 weeks in the making is probably the least of evils.
  15. Oct. 28th at the Butch
  16. If 2 teams tie, it is head to head tiebreaker which would go in favor of Livingston via the 1-0 win. If Central, Nederland and Livingston tie. The first tie breaker is head to head which means they see if one of the tied teams beat the two others. If Central, Nederland and Livingston tie, the likelihood is that they will all have 1-1 records against each other. Then the tiebreaker goes to positive points, which is the points depending of the margins of victory in the games of Nederland vs. Livingston, Nederland vs. Central and Central vs. Livingston. With one game left to play in that (Livingston/Central on the 28th at the Butch), the positive points look like this: Nederland: +6 (1 pt loss to Livingston, 7 pt win over Central) Livingston: +1 (1 pt win over Nederland) Central: -7 (7 pt loss to Nederland) So, assuming that they are tied at 4-4, then: If Livingston beats Central, they get the final spot (Livingston has the head to head over Nederland and Central) If Central beats Livingston by 13 or less, Nederland gets the spot (Nederland would be at worst tied with Central on positive points and get the spot based on their win over Central) If Central beats Livingston by 14 or more, Central gets the spot (Central would have at least +7 on positive points which would be the best positive point total)
  17. Liberty still has some work to do with, notwithstanding last night's score, a pretty salty bunch in H-J.
  18. Congratulations, Coach Williams!
  19. BTW, Thanks BIG TIME again for helping me get these scores. You too, TxHoops.
  20. I see where you got 34-12, I saw a twitter report that had it 34-0
  21. I thought I saw it was 34-0?
  22. If they hold in the last 7 seconds, it is a HUGE win for Brook. It could mean the difference between staying at home hosting a bi-district game and traveling to Longview for it!
  23. Just got it off of twitter, Newton won 43-6
  24. Mike and Tim are on the air!
