both teams are amazing and not to take away from coldsprings but i just think that cleveland is more disipline on both sides of the ball. cant wait to see what happens in this matchup!!

just like the majority of other schools, talent comes in cycles, and right now the talent level isnt the highest, plus i hear they have had the injury bug.  If you recall the class of 2006 had some tremendous football talent in it, 2 of which are starting on saturdays now, and several more 1st team all-district players in a dang good district.  Given time and proper support the program can get turned back around.

i think coldsprings is going to be too much for splendora. im very well aware of what has happend the last two years but i still think that the wildcats will be over matched..

One thing you can compare is Tarkington now VS Tarkington the past few years. One thing is for sure, the offense they are running now fits their kids to a T. They were doomed from the get go when they were running that Barbers Hill spread stuff. Another thing they have going for them are a few new coaches. Coach Fortune did a great job of getting rid of some coaches that were a hindrence to the program. It has taken him a few years but he put together a staff that does a good job. Good luck to Coach Fortune, his staff and the Longhorns this week.

Go back to the Cleveland site and talk them up some more instead of coming over here and stinking this thread up with non opinion posts.  Splendora has had some rocky games, but they are playing decent football with all the young guys that they have.  They will be fine tonight against T-town.  34-10 SPLENDORA
