  2. I will take Silsbee for this one, if they play the way they are capable of playing. RB's Chris Barnes. and Chris Castle will need run like the wind blow's and hold on to the ball, WR's Chase Kelly, Shannon Robinson and Jarrian Rhone will need to catch everything they touch, and of coarse Jeremy Johnson will need to put up some real high numbers passing and rushing. And the Tiger defense will have to stop Dexter Pratt Jacolby Stokes

A Hardin County man died on Friday evening when the vehicle he was driving collided head on with pick up truck about 7.5 miles north of Jasper on Highway 96. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash occurred shortly after 9:00, when a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, which was southbound on Highway 96, for some unknown reason, crossed over the centerline and ran head on into a northbound 1996 Dodge pick up truck.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Joel Scott Schooling, 19, of Silsbee, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge, William Isaac Rawls, a 22 year old oilfield worker from Pineland and three of his passengers, Angel Jacobs, 23, Clint Jacobs, 6, and 1 year old William Braden Rawls, all of Pineland, were all taken to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital where they were at last word still undergoing treatment.

The accident was investigated by state trooper Eric Malone, who filed a report saying that both the deceased and Rawls were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.

  4. I will be the first to say that it is a big loss but not a devastating one. Two starters, one being one of the leading recievers in the district and also the punter, the other their top linebacker, reserve rb, and punt returner. This alone would impact any team let alone what the circumstances that led to these two not playing.

I believe the Tigers will overcome this, but it is obvious it weakens the team.

I do not agree with you on some of this, the Tigers have several very good recievers, and linebackers so they will be just fine in those positions, also they have several players that can return punts. I am not sure who the new punter will be.

  5. THE BIG TIMERS?  C'MON   Are they really big time?

THE FRANCHISE? COOOOMON!  Are they really franchise players?

FIRST ROUNDer's  Are they actually going to be first rounders?

Or is it "If you play for us you will be big time."  Or "if you play for us you will be a franchise player."  Or "if you play for us you will be a first round draft pick."

You are teaching these kids at least one thing that is wrong.  My guess is it goes beyond that.

I prefer the normal names such as Sun Devils, Lumberjacks,   These names lead me to believe they are not a bs'ing these kids and their parents from the first hand shake.  My guess is these teams win more also.

The name is First Round Baseball and it has nothing to do with any of the players going in the first round. The coaches son was drafted in the first round, and why be normal.
