For some reason, this game was played on a Monday night. I have my assumptions on why I think so.  ;) Kountze's next game is not until next Tuesday.

2A: Tatum vs. East Chambers, White Oak vs. Kountze

The closet thing I ever got was a t-shirt signed by Kenny Smith when I played in one of H-Town basketball tournaments one summer. I also got a signed picture from Herscel Walker for being nominated for the Willy Ray Smith Award.

Kountze will more than likely be out of the rankings next week after last night's loss to Anahuac. Hopefully Anahuac can pull of the win at EC next Friday and create 3-way tie for 1st!  ;D ;D

Definitely going to be an interesting finish to say the least. I'm hoping for a 3-way tie just so we can save face with our District Championship streak but I know East Chambers is a tough out on their home court. Barring anymore slip-ups by Kountze, and an EC win against Anahuac, Kountze will finish 2nd.

First off. Congrats to Anahuac on the win tonight. Wow! I'll be able to give a better one after tomorrow night once I see how much Linn is able to contribute.  He was averaging 17 ppg before he went down and he's been out both games this year against EC. I still think Kountze pulls it out either way.
