[/quote] Yes, I know. I had a chance to watch them once in December in one of their tournament. They still can score in bunches at times. The biggest thing hindering this year's squad is youth as they may show up one night and disappear the next. Things are looking good for the future.

Sure wish I could make this game and the whole playoff run for Kountze.  :( I've missed it for the past 2 years being away from Texas with my job.

Looks like things may be on the uprise in the near future for the Bronco basketball program. Former Kountze basketball player Brad Hadnot (Class of 97) was promoted to the Varsity Head Coaching spot on yesterday!

Closer than most expect with this game being IN Kountze. If we can pull this one out it will should give us a huge boost for the playoffs. Gonna be a tough out though with Stallworth's inside/outside presence. Can't wait! (Bart Scott voice)

At that point, neither team knew how they would finish in their district. It was quite possible they could have faced each other in the 3rd round of the playoffs if either one of them finished 2nd in the district. That would have put them playing on 2/14 and again on 3/2 or 3/3. It only worked out because both teams won their district which now means they won't play again until the Regional Tournament.

What's the purpose of playing/scheduling a team you may have to face in the playoffs again in the upcoming weeks for a warm-up game?  ??? ???
