just wondering, but should South Lake Carrol have at least 4 or 5 consecutive bi-district wins??? maybe wrong but just curious...

yeah... i believe they could have won the state championship without bray... if u lost one of the seniors though it would be a different story... Powell, Busby, Boykins, and Haynes... if u lost any of them they would still be a very good team, but maybe not as dominant... Powell and Busby i would say were the best 2 and i think the reason Powell is better is because he's been with most of the guys on the team for several years and everyone looks to him as a leader... and its not always how many points you score also... u could have assists, rebounds, steals... theres many other ways you could contribute to a team other than scoring... im not trying to take anything away from Thomas, or any other players, but Powell is a great player... congrats to him...

thanks cardinal... i was really wondering about how Paige Sermons did... shes a freshmen and came in 1st or 2nd almost every meet in these 2 events...

i remeber this game really well i was standing on the track about 50 feet away from the field when i saw them score... it was a sad moment for me, but a great game non the less...

anyone know the outcome of the GIRLS 1600m and 3200m...

Sanders and Roby for HJ will be good next year...

all of our strong guys keep up with their grades... because they know the main rule of UIL... FAIL = NO FOOTBALL so they do whatever it takes to pass...

everyone is talking about how much losing Donahoe will hurt HJ... but no one has said anything about how losing Harper will hurt Silsbee... in every game i saw he was the leading scorer... in the Regional final game he had like 23 points... They are also losing their big guys... just like HJ is losing Durley... both teams will re-load and be back ready for next year... the way i see it is that its gonna be a close district race again next year between HJ and Silsbee for 1st and 2nd... then WOS and Jasper for 3rd and 4th...

like standings??? it was 1. lumberton 2. central 3. PNG 4 - 6 (vidor, sislbee, nederland) (Not sure on these 3 i think it was vidor in 4th, silsbee in 5th, and nederland in 6th not sure though).. 7. LCM 8. Ozen 9. HJ 10. WOS

i would have to go with Kountze... they have won the state championship in 3 of the last 4 years and the year they didn't win they were regional finalists... and if anyone thinks they aren't feared because they are a 2A team... then ur wrong... because one of their state championships was when they were 3A and also one year they played HOUSTON MILBY as a warm up game... and stuck with them and only lost by i think 12... and Houston Milby ended up winning the 5A state championship undefeated that year...

Bray... a freshmen this year... started the entire season... is probably around 6'3" - 6'4" and is a very good athlete... will lead the team next year as a sophmore... great player... watch out for him next year... and also i never saw anyone mention Jamesky from Kountze... from what i saw this year he was pretty good... he was one of the main subs this year... will most likely be starting point guard next year...

5A - PAM will be good next year with brown returning... 4A - Ozen should be pretty good next year... 3A - Silsbee and HJ... Im gonna say HJ, (although i didn't see any Silsbee JV/Freshmen games, and dont know what they have coming up) as far as i know Silsbee is losing most of their good players... Harper scored most of their points in every game i saw... HJ has Burrell, Payne, Sundgren, Ricossa, and Bernard returning... gonna be a good district race... these 2 will come out number 1 and 2 and WOS or Jasper will follow in 3rd... 2A - Kountze and EC... i'd say EC takes this one with Thomas returning next year... Kountze will have a good team with Brae(speeling?) and Jamesky(spelling again?) leading the team next year... hurts when u lose 4 great players, but they will still be pretty good next year... 1A - WH and BIG SANDY... WH is losing a great player/leader in Letsinger... also Simmons was good player... not sure bout how many BS is losing but i think it will be a great district race between these two next year... Im gonna have to go with Big Sandy though... because it hurts WH too much to lose letsinger... they have good players coming up, but i dont know if they can replace him... pretty much looks like the same teams that dominated the area this year in each divison...

we also lost woo... who was good inside man... but HJ will still be very strong next year with some experienced players returning as Juniors and Seniors... Weldon Sundgren Ricossa Burrell Bernard Payne McNeely lil' Steve there are also some JV players that will step up next year... Fontenot Roby and maybe a few others... and the freshmen team is also very good... they were undefeated in district and only lost 1 game all year to a private school in houston... we will be strong next year... and we will make playoffs for at least the next 3 years...

i go to HJ and i was really rooting for donahoe to win it... but u win some u lose some... and Kris richards is an excellent player and deserves it... but also im pretty sure donahoe wasn't too disapointed... he still has that state MVP plaque hanging on his wall...

so its next weekend at ozen... sounds like it should be pretty cool...

just of out curiosity who would u say is a better 2A player than Cam???

that thing u were talking about how Donahoe was 3A MVP... and kris richards wasn't... im pretty sure if Ozen had won the state championship game that Richards would have won the 4A MVP award... Kris richards is an excllent player and has worked hard for this... congratulations to him... Ryan Donahoe is also a very good player and works just as hard... just came up a little bit short ... But also think about how many players there are in this area... and Donahoe is considered in the top 3 or 4 in an area that produced 2 State Champions, a State Runner up, and 2 Regional finalists (maybe 3 dont remember if WH made it to regional semi-finals or finals)... this is a talented area full of great athletes... Congratulations to Netherly and Richards on Mr. Inside and Mr. outside awards...

heres a few that i think should be on there... Stockie - kelly Kirby - kelly Waldrup - lumberton Uribe - Central those 4 for sure... then some others that could possibly be on there... Biffle - Vidor Garza - Lumberton thats all i can think of right now... help me out.. would be nice if someone could post a list of all the players that they think would be on there and their positions...

there is no 21-AAA in soccer... there is no 3A soccer in texas... there are not enough 3A schools with teams for them to have one...

ok... i know u were trying to defend the people who u thought should be on there... just got irritated with all the arguing and stuff... i'd like to actually see someone put who they think should be on the supergold team instead of arguing...

thats kinda like if u compared West Brooks football schedule to say H-J's or EC's football schedules.... its way different... its 2 completely different things is what im trying to say... so can we stop arguing about who's better out of Kelly and 20-4A teams... and get back to saying who we think should be on the Supergold team please...

it would be cool if it was set up like this... (kind of a ALL SETX district)... 1. HJ 2. Silsbee 3. Kountze 4. WOS 5. Ozen 6. East-Chambers cant think of who else to put in there probly some 4a and 5a teams im over-looking... sorry if i forgot someone...
