HJ's record Lost to Cleveland (they'll win their district in 3A) / 0-1 Beat Woodville / 1-1 Lost to Vidor (not nearly as bad as predicted 35-14)(Highly ranked 4A) / 1-2 Beat East Chambers / 2-2 Lost to Kirbyville (barely (28-14)) / 2-3 I'd say HJ is prepared to take 3rd for sure.. and challenge for 2nd

im sure every team in this district believes the same way, now its about doing! theres no doubt in MY mind the cats will be in the playoffs in the #2 or #3 spot. 1. wos 2. silsbee/of 3. silsbee/of i wouldn't be so sure of silsbee and wos being in the spots you have them... i wouldn't be suprised if WOS didn't get 1st in district this year... and i wouldn't be suprised if Silsbee didn't go to the playoffs this year. seems like every team in the district (except for HF) has a shot at going to the playoffs... going to be a war come district!! i hate to sound like a homer but i dont see anyone in district beating wos. the kinks are being worked out and they have to many weapons on offense and the deffense is solid and getting better. bc and of havent played anyone on the mustangs level this year but wos has played teams that are better than bc and of. i just dont see any team in district showing wos anything they havent already seen and dealt with. jmo i do agree however that this year is going to be fun to watch. I agree that WOS is the favorite, but i think they have the toughest time this year of all the years because they seem to be slightly down compared to previous years and everyone else for the most part seems to be better. HJ has played some very good teams and i think will give WOS a run for their money. WOS beat K-Ville by 1 point 21-20 and HJ lost 28-14 but it was close K-ville pulled away at the end, and HJ didn't (IMO) play to their full ability. If HJ comes out to play they can stay with WOS and maybe possibly beat them (It will be tough dont get me wrong). I say.. WOS, Silsbee, HJ make the playoffs.. Does the W-L playing the same team indicate how two teams will play eachother? For example... Orangfield lost to East Chambers Hardin-Jefferson beat East Chambers Would this lead you to believe that HJ has an edge against OF?? (I know that teams prepare different game plans depending on the team, but does it tell you anything) Another example involving 3 teams... HJ beat East Chambers BC beat Buna EC beat Buna Would you give HJ the edge against BC because of this? I want to hear what you guys think...

I agree.. Ford is probably one of the fastest if not the fastest guy in SETX.. Fastest i think i've seen this year.. When he broke that 96 yard touchdown and got to the second level he was burning.

What makes you leave HJ out of the picture? They are just as likely to make it as BC or Orangfield.

The whole game was late hit after late hit I'm surprised 57 wasn't ejected in the first half he should have been. did not see it, but what i was told was that the ref said that he threw a punch on the interception return and was ejected for that.

Had a bunch of missed handoffs and high snaps that either lost the ball or lost a down for HJ..

OK, Small change WoS Sislbee BC Orangefield HJ HF What does HJ have to do to get some respect in 21-3A? Play the Dallas Cowboys? Last season HJ was picked dead last and finished 3rd making the playoffs, this year HJ was picked 4th but everyone seems to think we'll finish last or 2nd to last.. HJ played cleveland (Highly ranked 3A team) fairly close, beat Woodville, and hung with Vidor (4A picked 1st in their district)... Who have BC and Orangfield played? I think not only does HJ make the playoffs, but possibly knock off one of the top dogs and make a run for 2nd place . they didnt hang with vidor. vidor had 3x as many yards as them. thast not hanging its getting killed 0-0 at end of first.. 14-0 at half.. and only a 35-14 final.. thats no where near getting killed... Vidor was picked to win by lots of people by 50.. id say a 21 point loss isn't bad.. considering HJ had several mistakes that killed them..
