  1. Now that I can see.
  2. No way Jasper scores 56 against Silsbee, I hope.
  3. Go to the game, take your youth group, pray before the game, have a Bible Study at halftime, then pray for thanks after the game. Sounds like a perfect outreach moment to me, we are all called to be Missionaries.
  4. Never, ever, pick against the Stangs!!
  5. I really don't think that athleticism will be the determining factor in this game. This game will be decided on carrying out a game plan, making adjustments during the game, disciplined defense and execution. The team that does what they are coached to do the most consistently will win this one.
  6. This one should be a shoot out.
  7. Hardin wears them out, and gets revenge for last year. Larry has the Hornets rolling. They will surprise some people in District.
  8. Not the Class that Code Red is supposed to represent. Coach Riordan would be very disappointed.
  9. Good point and thank you for the clarification. But does familiarity breed contempt?
  10. Tradition builds stadiums, Coaches and Cats win games.
  11. Silsbee finds a way to get the win here, i think Newton is more affected by the layoff.
  12. Those are just a few of the things he has been called around here. There are a select few who really believe he is going to take Hardin back to the playoffs this year. Larry Haynes is literally "worshiped" by some people in Hardin.
  13. Hmm..... That could make this one a wee bit more interesting.
  14. Didn't the HF coach come from Lumberton?
  15. Not really jabs, just that the hometown boy has ridden in on his white horse to save the day. The whole fiasco that went down last year and how the situation was manipulated to get Larry back in Hardin made some us sick. Tod Stark is a good coach and a quality person and how he was treated was sinister. Anxious to see how the "Golden Boy" does in his first game back in town.
  16. Now if it was Livingston, well...... That would be a different story.
  17. Crosby has too much depth for Jasper. This game will be close for a half, but the Coogs will simply outlast Jasper. Not a large disparity in top terr talent, just more of it in Crosby.
  18. I think there is a shrine somewhere in town where members of the SB go to deliver alms.
  19. I guess we will see Friday night, some people in these parts call Larry Haynes a miracle worker, some even claim he has supernatural powers.
  20. How did yall look in your scrimmages?
  21. What's HD got this year? Are yall supposed to be pretty good?
  22. I think you have to level the playing field as much as possible. It will never be completely fair or even this year, but the opportunity has to be there for all participants. The precedent has been set by the UIL that they will allow teams to play games every 5 days until all games are made up, with that being said, I think this will be the final outcome and ultimate decision with the District games starting as soon as possible.
  23. I really think they have to do whatever possible to keep the competitive balance as even as they possibly can. Obviously Vidor is going to be at a huge disadvantage with the amount of damage to the school and town, but the DEC has a responsibility to do everything possible to keep the playing field level.
  24. I know what you are sayin, but Hardin is.... well...... still Hardin, even with the great Larry Haynes at the helm. I think Huntington won pretty easily last year at Hardin. Just sayin, better not count those chickens before they hatch.
  25. Dang, that was a shot across the bow. Hope there aren't any Huntington fans this far South, you might have hurt their feelings.
