Me and my buddies were sitting in rightfield and everyone in there would boo the astros if they intentionally walked him. I think his 3rd or 4th at bat they quit 4 balling him and he dinged a few rows in front us!

'12 Stros got their first walk off win of the season. Ive stayed up watching too many extra inning losses this year. And now the players have requested to wear the Navy/Gold Unis again, 1 of my 2 favorite unis. Rainbow also!!! Maybe we can go back to the Navy and Gold and the shooting/slanting star again in the ALWest for 2013

Seriously Silsbee has a beautiful stadium never been in there but we pass it often.

Ilike the domed one, too cool. Also elders and the pittsburgh one too, for the stands proximity to the field.

We are seeing a lot of 11 and 12 tryouts where are all the 9 and 10s? My son is ready to tryout too.

VFW is is about 2.5 miles south of IH-10 on Hwy105 in Vidor. Turn south on main street (105) in vidor, cross the tracks twice and the VFW is on the right shortly after second set of tracks. It is where the Vidor youth football play for the STJFL, not lonestar( you can visit www.VPIFA.NET)

Lol.  When I said "we" I was referring to the current team.  Just as two cents said " Really? Not one team [u]we[/u] played last year shut us down. Heck noone held [u]us[/u] to less than 15 points in the whole season. [u]We[/u] averaged 360 yards a game and 29.5 points a game. Wow.

PONY moves up in transitional stages, makes it easier.

I grew up LL and my son did his first 3 years in LL but he is now on his 2nd year in PONY. I think PONY is way better only thing is I think they have the age groups all wrong. LL starts kids pitch at 8 and Pony at 9, if PONY would start at 8 then hands down a better choice.

I will always be a grown up LLer though.

My point is I have seen two games there and the team I was supporting won both and that kinda makes a person's memory of a location more positive. I have numerous reasons to enjoy DA BUTCH, one of which is I only pay $7 if I chose to. Pretty good deal, lots of district teams have crappy facilities and or parking, I wish all the Pirates away games were there.

As far as one good season goes, I guess your the type that can only enjoy the Win, and can only appreciate the boys effort when they come out victorious. I think every season and game are a great one. Even the last time Vidor and Central played at Babe, six quarters of great ball

My team is the VIDOR PIRATES. My tax dollars left Beaumont and moved to Vidor, I didnt like alot of the decisins in Beaumont and the BISD.
