how did vidor get to play in that tournament when png beat them in the super bowl?
My question is, "If PNG won the Super Bowl, why couldn't PNG play in the tournament?" -

Wear your black and gold. You will blend right in. PNG wears their purple and they stick out like a sore thumb. ;D
It doesn't matter what color you wear. WE are ALL proud of the Bulldogs and their accomplishments! I think it shows a sense of PRIDE for fans to wear their school colors, and I'm sure the BULLDOG players and some Nederland fans are proud that the other area fans are there to support them. GO BULLDOGS!!!!

SC is the clear favorite but Vidor does have an advantage come playoff time of running a very unique offensive scheme that most teams outside of 20-4A do not see...it is difficult to defend...Vidor needs to keep the ball and drain the clock with some long, time consuming drives and keep that SC offense off of the field...if they can do this, they have a CHANCE to disrupt the SC O...best of luck to the Pirates from this Nederland Bulldog
That IS needed problem is Pirates have been moving the ball as quick as a passing game and NOT eating clock up. It's weird to say but averaging +10 yards a carry is not consuming any clock. -

Jags do their big bird impersonation to bulldogs.
Lumberton receive mysterious email. After that, Buddy Garity install mail box Lumberton. L-train chug past Panthers.
Someone forgot to tell Orange residences that wild house is the prey of a Tiger.
In other news, Vidorians seen partying in the streets after news from mid county.

Lions give up 29 a game?
Pirates take 39 a game?
Like I say, could get ugly! -
Last year score was Vidor 28 Liv 27 w/3:08 left,Vidor scores under 2 min left to win 35-27.Liv w/30 seniors has a chance to win this game but I'll take Vidor @home by 6
I believe it was 35 or 42 points for the PIRATES last year.
As for Livingston's claim to defense, where was in the Silsbee game?
As for slow scoring running game, ask Ozen how slow Vidor's O is at getting the rock in the endzone!
If the Lions don't play smart it will yet another blowout! -
Vidor's major playmakers were on the bench without helmets with a
35-0 score. The backups did the rest of the damage. And it looked to me like Monty Q was trying to get tackled on some plays he had a clear lane down the sideline and cut up field just to break more tackles!
The Sophmores and Juniors added all the "extra" points to that 66-6 score

I hope Mitchell waits to see if he can get a better offer...
This is bothersome. You're Nederland and the Lamar University community might think that because of the proximity, that you would be supportive of the University and its programs. Apparently not. So, because of sporatic area support it's taking longer than at some other schools to crank the football program up. If as many area people would be supportive of Lamar as there are that just want to degrade the school what a school our entire area could / would be proud of. 8)
Ditto that! we seem to pull for district opponents come playoff time, and everyone seems to enjoy oppurtunities to play at Provost stadium. However we can't pull for our back yard collegiate program, which can only make playing on their field more exciting, IMO!
