Yea they may have a ton of athletes but memorial high school is just not the kinda school i would send my kid to.... Remeber those videos of those girls dancing that was all over youtube and the news, that shows what kind of school they are running over there.

There is not a doubt in my mind that if he would have stayed healthy that he would hold the homerun record right now.

When will the team be announced???

Why dont they jus add to more umpires down the foul lines just watching the outfield such as fair and foul balls, traps or catches, and homeruns. And put another doing the same in center, minus the fair and foul balls.

I couldnt agree more with you. The 05 and 06 sqaud should have won back to back state championships or atleast one.

I hope Riojas can turn things around over there. Its going to be tough in that district and they dont have the talent they used to have. But good luck Riojas.

If they can keep it to foul or fair and homerun or not then yea it can help.

Ill be there first to go then. Bridge city has hicks returning which is great but they need a number 2 and 3 to compete in that district. Also roberston and many others. Vidor has hester who is only getting better but they did gradaute a few key players. Robi, williams, bunner, and fontnow. But the will compete once agian. Lcm returns a great sqaud with brown, johnson, leger and barry. Going to miss the richards, gunn and jones but they have some under classmen that will step up. Such as Gonzalez, watch for this kid, vaughn and a few others. Png lost harrington but the always put a great squad together. They have a plenty of talent to fill the holes left by the senoirs! Nederland...hmm not much i can say but dean will be the ace and he will be a good one to watch. With four teams making the playoffs, which i think is a joke, takes away from the competition, they will make the playoffs. They have talent year in and year out just need the pitching to step it up a notch!

You proved a couple weeks ago you were a joke. You just removed all doubt. I bet Vidor just loves you with one first teamer and Robi not even on the list. You need to find something else to do.. Obviously "Robi" wasn't good enough to make the list............ Again Gabe you do a good job and we all thank you for that.......... Good list you have. And if this hurts robi's feelings, which i doubt it does, then i think its time he matures.

It is very unfortunate that this goes on in highschool. Its unfair to the kids who deserve to play and to the coaches for being pressured!

2008 was a good year for southeast texas but i think 2009 will be even better. How does your 2009 sqaud look?

I could see where it could help in calling fall balls and fair balls but then agian it would cause problems. Baserunners wouldnt know what to do. I just dont want baseball to end up like the nfl. Its like the communist are running it. Every other play is reviewed. There is a penalty flag thrown every other play! You cant touch the quaterback! I loved watching espn classic and watching some of the early games where it was head to head smash mouth football. You see more action watching womens figure skating. Come on coop you know what im talking about!

Not taking away from bryant but with the talent bc has year in and year out you could put a coach in that school that with just a little knowledge and still turn out a good year.

First off congrats to all who made the list but.... putting this many people on the all district team takes away from it. Of course these kids are happy to be all district but seeing that many kids doesnt make it feel like anything specail.

Just play them all at lcm!!! I want to see this game!
