  1. I saw the greatest 3 players of all time. Jordan, Magic, and Bird.
  2. I think you'll be shocked as to how many attend this. And no one will HAVE to pick a side. How about no one? I had heard that they may not be able to hold the "town meeting" in that place. I guess I heard right.
  3. I think you'll be shocked as to how many attend this. And no one will HAVE to pick a side.
  4. DV, there is no witch hunt coming from me. Im just trying to understand the jest of this conversation. Seriously, where you the HC on the bench during the Regional Tourney? I seriously doubt that DV will answer your question on the grounds that may incriminate himself.
  5. Probably couldn't get a rental in Lumberton. People are nervous there already. After threatening to tear down the town (which they could not do), they didn't make a lot of friends in Lumberton. I think they will be safer in Silsbee until they make them mad. We don't want them either. Let'em meet at the Court House in Kountze.
  6. I am looking forward to Silsbee/Lumberton. Renew that Village Creek rivalry.
  7. Only when DV makes false statements or comments that do not tell the whole story, very misleading if a person didn't know better. Kind of like that Baytown Sun story you just posted. All we need now is for the late Paul Harvey to say, "Now, the rest of the story".
  8. I believe you are the only one I know that calls the regional tourney the regional finals and the state tourney the state finals. I have been going to the state tourney since 1972, 38 straight years, and I have only known and heard the state tourney be called the STATE TOURNAMENT!
  9. By the looks of Nos's posts, I believe him to be sure of himself in those comments. He did not need to ask you.
  10. Well, they already lost one. ;D
  11. You, working in 3-a? How can this be? How many times have we heard you malign 3-a schools and players? Hmmmm. Yeah I almost turned the job down when they told me that!.... : :...When we go into the UIL, after the next realignment, thats where we have to go initially...3A....Yeah it sucks doesn't it? :....BUT a 3A in Houston is definitely a GOOD THING... ...Ask Dallas Madison. ....I can deal with it...I coached in 3A before, Mr. Nash, when I was head coach at Wilmer Hutchins in Dallas (now defunct)...Lost to Van (2005 3A champion) in the 2005 regional finals with NO SENIORS, the last year the school was open...The kids had to transfer to Dallas Roosevelt (2006 3A champion) and the rest is history... :'( Are you sure about this, Dicky? See this is what I am talking about. You make false comments on here all the time and then you get all mad when someone calls you on it. You want to cry "technicality" or something. : It just amazes me that you continue to do it when you know how easy it is for someone to find the truth out.
  12. I think both of you may have misunderstood GTfootball's post. I believe he is talking about the Central QB.
  13. This goes both ways then, there are people who are labled 'newbies' and have no 'credit' so there opinion does not matter, also people who REFUSE to post because of the reasons I already stated. Ok, the end. Everyone relax, have a 'juicebox', and when you're ready to come back you will. Ditto! ;D Couldn't have said it better.
  14. Well, after reading these responses, it is very clear that there are obvious problems in PA. Dicky, I do not know how good a job this private gig is that you have just landed, but I would think it's a much better sitiuation than what you just left. It seems that you would have been better off taking an assistant job at HJ or Silsbee than being at that place in PA. ;D Count your blessings.
  15. I believe you'll see these numbers that I have in bold drop pretty significantly the next realignment. Some say that BC may drop as much as 150-200 students. WOS's enrollment has been on a steady decline for the last 10 years.
  16. Charles, Michaels, and Mosely. Those three can't be touched by any other back since 2000.
  17. Case closed. Trey Franks is the fastest.
  18. Uh, I believe Kountze and East Chambers would have something to say about that.
  19. My whole arguement was with your statement saying you saw those comments on this site when Kendrick first got in the league. Go back and look at the history of this forum and it only goes back to '06. You will not find anything here on what you are talking about. By the time this site's basketball forum really got to hopping, Perk had been in the league 4 years already. I believe he had solidified himself by that time, therefore, no arguement. If you'll look at my earlier post, I agreed with you that some comments were made on the other site that were regarding him making it in the NBA. I also agree that some of those posters are over here now since that site went down. But, if my memory serves me correctly, the one's that were adament about Kendrick not making it do not even post here. As for my comments, the only thing I said about Perk over on the other site was that I thought he might have benefitted more going to college. But I never said he wouldn't make it in the NBA. There are many players that are worse than Kendrick that have or still play in the NBA for me to say KP wouldn't make it in the league.
