That change doesn't take effect till next school year. He will finish this school year as associate AD unless he decides to leave the school on his own before year is out. There is talk that PAISD is looking into keeping Boutte in some capacity. Was very weird timing though. I wonder what the situation would have been had they made this announcement before they hired the new basketball coach.

Speaking for myself, I am not accusing anyone of anything. Was just asking questions about the kids situation and how they came to this area. I have been told by many in the know that it is unlikely that these kids will be eligible to play varsity sports this season. But stranger things have happened.

Question, why didn't the "guardian" in Atlanta not enroll them in a local school in that area when the other school closed? Just what was the situation that led them across a few states to go to school other than the school in Atlanta closing?

Silsbee has 9 varsity basketball players playing varsity football. Silsbee will be taking just 5 varsity players (Grubbs, Maze, Tanton, fresh. McCain, fresh. Adams) to North Shore. The other 4-5 players are JV or 9th players.
