  1. East Chambers ATTENTION!!!!! The first two day schedules are reversed. The Monday pool play schedule posted is actually Tuesday's pool play schedule and Tuesday's posted is actually Monday's pool play schedule. The first tow games Monday should be College Station vs. Big Sandy (boys) and East Benard vs. WO-S (girls) at 8am.
  2. Gulf Coast Classic [Hidden Content]
  3. or Hardin-Jefferson and Beaumont Kelly.
  4. Silsbee's Gym capacity is 1650. HJ's is 1059. Evadale's is 1100, same as East Chambers. Those chairback seats are nice but it does cut down on capacity. Ozen and PA Memorial have the largest capacity gyms locally. Both around 2000.
  5. Humble did not lead entire game.
  6. It doesn't. This all district list is the epitome of the "everyone get's a ribbon" world we are living in today. I am sorry, but the coaches have to do a better job with these selections. 86 total players make All-District. smh
  7. A little disappointed in Humble's play. Thought they would be better. Barbers Hill plays a very good 2-3 zone defense and is patient on offense. Good win for the Eagles. The most impressive player I saw was in the JV game. Barbers Hill freshmen Max Armer was the smallest player on the floor but played bigger than anyone. He scored 22 points, 12 in the crucial 4th quarter of a 73-70 win for BH. This young man I will keep an eye on the next 3 years.
  8. For just about 50 positions. smh
  9. Add 4 more to the list (makes 65 total) Spurger Hull-Daisetta Humble Barbers Hill
  10. I now regret posting the foul count. The intent was not to be negative towards any team and to start a war of words from rival team fans. My apologies.
  11. Not so much bothered by it, but was certainly curious. It's why I posted that particular stat plus the fact it was the only stat I had other than the score.
  12. I found that to be odd as well. But to be accurate, he did have a foul called on him late. In fact he ended with 2 fouls but both came with only 2 minutes left in game. I understand your point on how the difference was in the style and how the defenses were played in this game. But just going by video, I am certain HJ fouled more that 3 times in first half. But again, it would not have mattered one bit.
  13. Totally agree. I had no problem with the fouls called on WO-S. From what I saw watching the live video stream, those 27 foul calls were legit. IMO, probably should have been 3-4 more. My posting of the foul count had to do with the fact that HJ only had 3 fouls called in first half. From what I saw, there should have been more called in 1st half. 2nd half looked fair in how it was called. I just found it odd that HJ was only called for 3 fouls the entire first half. I consider those three officials to be three of the best in our area and arguably in our entire region. Just was a bit surprised that the foul count was that one sided being that HJ was just as aggressive defensively as WO-S was in first half. With that said, this had nothing to do with outcome. You could have reversed the foul count in first half and HJ still leads by 20 and wins the game by 35 or more. Was just something I found strange to this particular game.
  14. Final HJ 103 WO-S 59 Foul count 2nd half HJ 11 WO-S 13
  15. Halftime HJ 57 WO-S 26 Foul count in 1st half HJ 3 WO-S 14
