In order to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the UIL had relaxed policies during the regular season to allow livestream broadcasts of high school football games. However, the UIL recently published a notice that live stream broadcasts will be NOT be allowed during the 2020 UIL Football Playoffs. According to the notice, UIL’s agreement with its broadcast partners (NFHS and Texan Live) strictly prohibits the use of live streaming sites including Facebook Live, Instagram Live, Twitter Live and YouTube Live to stream football playoff games. This will also be the case for 6A and 5A playoffs. NFHS and Texan Live have had exclusive rights to video broadcasts of UIL football playoffs for several years now. So schools and other entities cannot video broadcast like they were allowed in the regular season.

Watched some film on LaMarque. They will have trouble scoring on Silsbee. #73 for Silsbee will cause them lot's of problems. LaMarque does have some speed on defense that could hurt Silsbee but as long as the Tigers play well and limit turnovers, Tigers should cruise thru this round.

Texan Live has all playoff rights to video broadcasts. Schools or other entities that were doing video broadcasts during the regular season will not be allowed to do playoff games without the consent of Texan Live. I know some schools and entities do not know this and will try to broadcast. Good luck with that.
