Well when you don't have any solid school boundaries and kids can go from any middle school to any high school in Beaumont, this is what happens. From what I was told, the majority of kids that were lost due to Harvey were non-athletes. There may have been a handful that went to West Brook or Ozen but not many. I have some other reasons that I feel that contribute but not enough time at the moment to go over them.

You never did name the school so that we could help...

The bad part is that even if they go 3-1 over the next 4 games, that will have them at 5-3 and still does not guarantee them a playoff spot. Vidor and Nederland could both wind up at 5-3 and Central would be the odd team out do to the points tiebreaker. If the Jaguars are 5-3 and just Nederland is 5-3, then the Jaguars get in do to the head to head and the Bulldogs get to stay home. Win the next 4, which is possible, and the Jaguars guarantee themselves another game...

I know it's just JV, but are any of you Lumberton posters going to the JV game tonight at Babe Zaharious at 5 pm?
