  1. I am not takings sides, but I do want to point out who the superintendant and school board work for, the taxpayers.
  2. I borrowed this from WOS87's post on the Week 5 rankings thread. 3. Normal for this rivalry. Alot of smack talk, but there is respect there too.
  4. Offense- Kirby Bellow, - 14 of 26 , 208 yards, 3 TDs Defense- Nederland Defense- held Central's Hall to under 50 yards rushing.
  5. I think this rule applies to college and pro.
  6. They definitely settled down in the second half and got thier offense and defense going. Play two halves against Lumberton and you will be fine.
  7. A little of both I think. We were too comfortable with the lead when we came out in the 3rd. If we could have drove down and got one more score, and burned some clock , that would have been the game. It sounded like they weren't taking as long to snap the ball as before, which is a good clock burner also. Anyway we got the big win and have another big game next week. On to png!!
  8. Okay, my thoughts: Good job taking advantage of the turnovers early. Offense was on fire in the first half, got too comfortable in the 3rd quarter, and tightened up in the fourth. Defense did a great job with the exception of a few big plays and dumb penalties. The late hit on Central's qb got them started. The punter was lights out when we needed him. He pinned them back inside the 15 twice at the end of the game.
  9. Pretty deep hole for all three of those teams. I don't think three losses is going to make in the playoffs.
  10. We actually ran the ball okay. But when there are two minutes left, you burn as much clock as you can. Game ball to the punter for pinning Central back twice at the end of the game.
  11. Yeah, me too. Rain or shine I will be there!!
  12. I'm not surprised that Central settled down and got in thier offense. The defense stopped them when it counts. Central will be in the playoffs.
  13. Is Png keeping it on the ground or throwing?
  14. about 5 min left
  15. What do think about this tropical junk? Will it be out of the area by gametime?
  16. Boy that could ruin your day on several different levels. ;D
  17. Thier still mad at us for hanging 51 on them last year.
  18. So I guess a 3 touchdown loss is not getting blasted? Oh, and only one td pass was tipped.
  19. Actually, Ned's biggest IMO was vs Friendswood in '01. #2 ranked in the state and Ned took it to them in the quarterfinals.
  20. Tradition is a big part of it. The schools that don't have it do not have that part of the foundation to build on. Even when Ned and png where bad, they still had the tradition from the old days to fall back on when the right coach came along.
  21. Ned was 5-5 last year and they were undefeated. I think it was 48-14 or something like that.
  22. I remember a game against Ozen in Cardinal when several people collapsed due to heat exaustion, including one of the flag bearers before the game.
