This is not in agreement with SETexas top 10... Dayton is the only team from 22-4A in the top 10...

I wonder if Greg Davis is leading the PNG offense from Austin???? As a PNG grad.... SCORE SOME POINTS INDIANS!!!! At least get a defensive TD.... I don't see the tribe getting shut out 3 times in a row.... I say 2 touchdowns, and maybe a field goal this week in Silsbee. GO TRIBE!!!

Agree.... two loses won't win district, but I can see a tie with two teams having one loss each. I say the winner of the Central Dayton game gets tripped up somewhere else...

Each game will be a war... I really don't see Dayton rolling through the competition again this year. Most games will be won in the 4th quarter. Conditioning will play a key.

This will continue to hurt Ozen if it is not corrected... That is a lot of penalties. Congrats to Ozen for hanging in there... Last year it was apparent the offensive and defensive line just threw in the towel. I felt sorry for the Ozen QB last year during the Dayton game. He couldn't take a three step drop without a d lineman breaking through and applying pressure. Last year Ozen had good skills people but it takes a TEAM to be successful in football. Eleven people have to win their job on every play to be successful. Even though Ozen is 0 and 2 they appear to be much much approved. Every game in district 22-4A should be a war this year.

Agree.... He probably has the highlight of the week on the TD interception. The play was right at me... Came out great on the video.

Take a look at the Bronco Highlights from Nacogdoches... www.toupsgraphics.neptune.com Even without Cody back... We lose AJ as a receiver, but he touches the ball every play. He had two great throws for receptions. He will allow Gable to get lose because the defense has to focus on him first.... and.... The defense is just AWEsome. Nacogdoches kept trying to pound the bowl between the tackles and their running back never got lose. Nacogdoches lone TD was just an AWEsome touchdown toss. The Bronco secondary is one of the best around. Five interceptions in one game is tremendous. WOS couldn't even pass on them, they were able to run the ball in the second half. Should be a great game. With it being Dayton's home openner, the largest crowd to watch any type of event in Liberty county, I say the Broncos ride the emotion to a win. GET WELL SOON CODY!!!!

Dayton got 5 interceptions. I was able to get all of them. The 4th was ran back for a TD and look at the 5th one in slow motion. Smesny lays out horizontally to make the play, an unbelievable interception. AJ's first TD pass was a bullet on a crossing route. The video of it is great too.

What a great win!!! Just got finished editing the video... The defense played better than I first thought. I got all 5 interceptions on the video!!! The incterception ran back for a TD is AWEsome! The offense didn't skip a beat when AJ went into QB. The videos are uploading now. I will make a new thread when I get them posted! Will be a great game in Dayton this Friday! Can't wait for the Angleton game!!! Should be a dandy!!!

I really don't see any time going undefeated this season. Will be very interesting, lots of good teams but only 3 will get out.

WHAT HAPPENED.... Got a good view of this on the video... Cody is running to his left. His tackler grabs him around his waist. Cody plants his right foot. The tacklers momentum makes him leave his feet and his body rotates around Cody's waist. Unfortunately Cody's foot remains planted and his knee and lower leg takes the brunt of the tacklers body. Was a good clean tackle, just very unfortunate physics. It does look like while Cody is falling his foot does not remain planted so hopefully that will reduce the level of the injury. GET WELL SOON CODY!!!! ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!

Crosby easily wins this distict... Congrats to Crosby for winning at the Reservation....

Dayton's defense is for real... The pass Nacogdoches scored on was well covered, just a good throw and catch on a post route. AJ came in and has more speed the Cody. He was able to get around the corner on the QB sweeps and that loosened up the defense. He also had 2 huge pass receptions. The first for the TD then the second was a post route down the other sideline. You could say the MVP for Dayton was the opposing QB. He threw 5 passes to us with one of them ending up as a TD. I am working on the video now. Will put a thread up when I get them done. I have some AWEsome highlights that will be worth the view. ps.... CONGRATS TO THE RAIDERS!!! A HUGE WAY TO START THE SEASON!!! Would be neat to see them get a play off spot this year.

Brenham is #8. It would be hard to rank Nederland behind Brenham after they just beat them. Central beat a 5A team and is still out of the top 10? Hard to predict what Nederland will do with the new QB, even after their game with Forest Brook (who shouldn't challenge Nederland that much). If the new QB gets off to a strong start I say Nederland takes the #3 spot. Nederland's first district game is HUGE. If Vidor is able to pull off an upset, Nederland follows with Central and can be staring at being 0 and 2 with the PNG game coming next. If Nederland is 2 and 1 after 3 games they get #3, if they are 1 and 2 it will be tough, although they pulled it off last year. PNG almost must be 3 and 0 to get the third spot. They close with Central and Dayton, I don't see the Tribe winning both or even one of those games. If LCM can beat PNG again the Nederland vs LCM game will be big... SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!! I say... Crosby fans... Reality hurts... Although ranked top in your district, your still 4th in 22-4A. After PNG wins Friday it will be interesting... An LCM loss against a powerful WOS team will put them 0-2. I don't think they will be ranked. PNG will be 1 - 1, and probably take LCM's spot. Crosby should drop down right before Galena Park. Looks like this poll has District 22-4A finishing... 1. Dayton 2. Nederland 3. Central With LCM getting 4th. A definite possibility, although I see PNG ahead of LCM. If Dayton can rebound and win Friday... Next weeks home openner in Dayton against Friendswood will be a big game featuring 2 top 5 Houston area teams.
