i wouldnt wanna play there when it rains IMO or any grass field for that matter. i hated when PA teams had to go to the Babe and play on a wet field. nasty conditions.
Yes, but REAL football is played on GRASS.  8)
oh, so thats why we have torched Central 2 yrs str8. i gotcha.  ;) it was the turf.
Sigh.... I'm not entertaining your foolishness today, Garrity.  ;D ;D

 5. It's no worst than being behind someone that can never stay sitting down or behind someone with their bad children running around.
 6. It's not that bad.  I'd venture to say about a group of about 4 seats on each corner of the top level have a blind spot. So, what is that?  16 'bad' seats in a stadium of 10,600?
 7. Couple hundred fans.  Obviously, you havn't been to the crosstown rivalry games.  Far from a 'couple hundred'.  and I'm completely aware of the 'blind spots' in the second level seats.  Whe the play hits the sidelines, you direct your attention to the jumbotron screen.

Get there late for a PNG game and sit midway up in the second deck! Horrible sight lines...can't see the sideline at all. Spend half the game wondering what just happened?
You have a GREAT view on the jumbotron for sideline plays from that angle.  ;D

I expect when you take your hiatus again thru basketball and baseball season, I will be passing you. Kind of expect more from a mod than to be around for just football season. ;)
It's called 'paid vacation'.  ;)

R. Mitchell is gonna have a field day with that secondary. even the coaches cant mess that up, even in a scrimmage.
Nobody "wins" scrimmages.  ::)
Tell that to Longview and West Brook.  ;)
I'll tell that to any and every team in the state of Texas! Until I see "w's and l's" in the win-loss column for those scrimmages and they be included in a teams overall record for the season and the UIL starts keeping that as a certified record, then they are just "glorified" practices and have no bearing on a win or loss.
so you also think that bringing a band and drill team to a "glorified" practice is silly? or making t-shirts (longview) celebrating a "glorified" practice is silly also?
Very, very silly!!! That's plain ridiculous!
I agree.
hmmmm, the first issue happened recently with a local 5A school, the latter happened few years ago with a mid-field celebration to add to the sillyness from what i heard from ppl that were there in Longview "beating" Lufkin.
Do you not agree that those situations are silly?
its also disrespectful....  ;)
Here he goes again.  :D :D
i ask again then why keep score. Dayton does have officials for its scrimmages and play with a running game clock and olay real game conditions except kick off and punt return. I promise you when dayton and nederland scrimmage neither coach will want to have fewer points on the board at the end. I used to love coaching tee ball they didnt keeo scire because they said the kids were to young but every parent would know the score.
Why do they nod do kickoff and punt returns but they do in 'real' games?  Because it's practice.
