NED and Vidor are sure bets.
the thing i noticed with Ozen is they really don't have a running game against a disciplined d-line. give the qb time and the recivers will get open. pressure him, and he will try to force it to avoid the sack. this was their downfall in the second half of our game. . once our db's backed off and kept the recievers infront of them, the qb was hesitant to throw it. and when he did throw, it was out of desperation and had no chance of completion. just look at the second half stats. i know all about the what ifs and shoulda, coulda, woulda. but we play the whole game like the second half, it wouldn't have been close. just sayin.
This is exactly what I got from a reliable unbiased contact that was at the game.  In his words 'he just refused to pull the trigger'.
We'll see how he fair in the jungle, can be tough on a QB there. if he can't handle the atmoshere there, he'll have a long night. It will be tough Friday as the Lions try to get back in the race.
Yes, but I think that he's be ok.  Ozen will need a way to consistently keep their speedsters in space.  Now, Ozen will have a game plan for Collins.  I hope Coach Rowe will have some adjustments handy...
Rowe always has something different on offense, and our team is a better team playing at home even though they always come to play anywhere, but at home brings out the best in them. Good luck to you all , you should be sitting 2-1 after Friday.
Homefield advantage will be the lady screeching in the sound systems deafening the Ozen players and staff. ;D ;) Thanks for the good words.  I hope we are 2-1 as well going  into that big showdown with Vidor on homecoming night.
Disrespectful!  :D
Lmbo.  I wasn't going to say anything...  Lol
Yea, you slipped thinking about or announcer you gonna have to listen to in about 3 weeks, didn't you. ;D
Don't remind me. Lol
 2. Yea.  I have us with losses to Vidor and Nederland.  We have a slight chance with an upset with Vidor.  I realistically see us beating I PN-G next week setting up some interesting games, on of which includes a trip to Livingston against your  Lions.
 3. It's not a knock on PAM because i know how good they are, but NS is back.  I have them in a blowout win...

 9. We came in and did what we we're supposed to do and beat a not so good Lumberton team.  We still have a lot of work to do, plus some key players we're dinged up.  #15 Thomas was hurt  and Both of the Mitchells got banged up, but they'll be ok.  Brennan fan, you're correct.  We Need to beat teams we're supposed to.  I think we'll lose to Vidor and Nederland. It would be nice to take one of them down, but that's wishful thinking.  But, I fully expect to beat PN-G, LC-M, and Livingston.  I don't want to get ahead of myself.  I'll let these games  play themselves out because these other teams have to at every week as well.  Good Game, Jags in showing up and not disappointing your true fans again.

 11. Another TD left on the field.  Thanks to the refs and butter finger recievers.
 12. Lumberton's last td waz the  direct result of another TD left on the field. Central made up for it on a beautiful 60 yard TD pass from Mitchell to Mitchell with no time left in the half.

 15. How do we know who's going to be on varsity when  not one game have been played yet?
 16.
To me it's a toss up between Jakobi Jones, Zach English, and Jacory Guillory of Central. Who do yaul think?
Guillery for Central is a good shooter , burger plays nervous sometimes, IMO.
 17. We need to get back to Central football and this is the game to do it.  I formation and pro sets.  Let Mitchell be effective on rollout passes by making Lumberton make a decision on Letting him pass  or running the ball.  We should be able to run on this team and beat them to the edges.  In order to prove you want to be taken serious for a playoff spot, you'll need to put this team away early.  I give us the edge in every aspect of this game except coaching.  Hopefully, this will be enough and our kids are willing to step it up a notch or two.  We need passes caught.  We need our o-linemen to pick up blocks on blitzs. Stuff that we can control (everything besides coaching) , well, needs to be controlled.  We'll See if our kids can make it happen and it starts now.  I'm confident that they (the players) will not disappoint.

 20.
MAN ASSAULTED AFTER GRID MATCH (AP Mont Belvieu, Tx) An as yet unidentified man was assaulted and beaten after a local high school football game last evening. A witness has told authorities that a man was in the parking lot lighting a smoke after last nights game between Barbers Hill and Kingwood Park before entering his vehicle. The anonymous witness then described the man being rushed and beaten with numerous canes and walkers by a mob wearing black and gold bandanas. Gang activity is suspected. Emergency responders found the victim in the fetal position toking three Marlboros and a blunt the size of a cuban cigar and clutching a backpack containing 62 packs of cigarettes, 2000 + expired counterfeit tickets to a Nederland @ Vidor game, a large bag of green vegetation that had been peed on by a skunk, and a can of black spray paint. No identification was found. When help arrived the man muttered over and over hillforeal, hillforeal, hillforeal for hours with red glassy eyes and a fixed gaze. Language experts have determined hillforeal is a Hopi Indian word meaning "we suck-round ball soon". When asked off the record for an opinion on the incident Nederland, Tx. PD chief Daryl Bush opined that he suspected the perps were from the Pt Neches and Groves communities. A short half-a$$ed investigation is under way.
:o ;D
 21. I'm right on time this week and so should you! Gentlemen & Gentlewomen, start your engines... **BG EDIT** ;)
 22. Nope, I'm afraid not...  There was a Beaumont Enterprise article to confirm that.
 23. Why is that different?  Lumberton shut us out last year while we played defense with 10 men for a 5 minute span.
 24. We support them.  I support them (the players).  It just seems that our staff is somewhere else when it comes to actually wanting to win games.  You see these kids every day and know what they are capable of. Fit the offense to their strengths. The offense that we're running isn't our strength as evident to our production and record.  When will 'they' see this?  We're halfway through the season.  After last year, you would figure that change would be evident.  The playbook is exactly the same.  Absolutely NO wrinkles.  Last year's  excuse is that Mitchell went down.  He's healthy now.  What's the excuse now.  Their running out of them
 25. We can never get our speed in open space. Our playbook isn't creative enough.
