And itās really head scratching considering that a vast majority of NSās enrollment are Hispanic kids... -

Like in Beaumont. Youāll have an elite athlete or two that pops up at West Brook. Youāll see a few pop up at Central, and a few pop up at Ozen. In Port Arthur, 15 minutes away, you see some elite athletes pop up there too. Youāll never see all the Beaumont or Beaumont area athletes pop up at one school. Silsbee, also 15 minutes away had the fastest kid in the state there. We produce these kinds of athletes but theyāll never just end up at one school even though the schools are not far from each other. If you like, I can give names of these elite athletes that Iām talking about, but Iām sure you know who Iām talking about... -

so newer residential areas means the top of the line athletes, huh? Thatās the logic? CE king area has many new growth and newer homes and they canāt field a team to come close to beating NS. Lots of new growth and developments in Baytown right down the street and I havenāt seen elite NS type athletes in any of their schools in like 20 years. Channelview as well, right down the street. But you see the world class athletes just so happen to end up at NSHS. But if thatās the logic, then cool. Not hating, but just calling it like EVERYONE sees it (excluding the NS peeps). š¤·š¾āāļø -
Once again, itās on!

Garbage TD. We went into cruse control in the second half.

32-7 in the 3rd quarter is what it was vs Ball. While yāall were down at halftime 14-13. 21-21 in the 3rd. All that struggling with their 3rd string QB in the game. Did you pay attention? Even you said BU would blow yāall out during yāall game. I canāt find the quote that even you said that. So you pipe down, Mr. Trill Texas...

Letās not dismiss the major struggle you guys had with Ball High, a team United dominated. Letās get our head out of the clouds, PA people. Remember, I was close to the PA stands during and after the game.

So if NS has a lot of Hispanic people and GP has a lot of Hispanic people, how do these elite black athletes end up at MS and NON of them end up at GP? Non for at least the last 15 years. Make this make sense to me is all I ask. -
Havenāt been to a game yet, but seen several online. Do that count?

I was there the whole time waiting on the game to be played. There was lightening. Matter of fact, several bolts of lightening. I donāt think they initially called the game because they thought it would pass over. -

Itās really strange and funny that the most athletic kids out there have been going north of I-10 for the better part of 15 years. The NS and GP zoning areas are not that far from each other. -
Solid wo. For Tigers. Defense played very well! Arline is a load and the Dilsbee WRās are coming along. Game ball goes to Hatton. Kid balled out. With Gilder back, Foster will need to work with him and the other WR more on these pass plays. Got a few more games to get this together before playoffs. and for H-F, the backup QB looked better than the Freshman kid that started. Might want to go with tjay kid. The Fish has plenty time to get better and do good in the near future.

Iāve expressed my displeasure of how the WB/United thing went. But jag86, if you missed it, my opinion is the reason given as far as acclimation period was pure BS as all teams in Texas had that very same issue. Also, thereās plenty of new coaches in 2020. No excuses. Play the scheduled game, take your lumps and move forward. No reason to short change the kids a game to an already possible abbreviated season. Really anticipated since 1 non district game was dropped for the sake of an extra bye week for the district committee. Ohh well...that was then. Now is now. Weāre 3-0 In district and are trying to get the district championship, something attainable.

What about the middle school or schools that feed into Galena Park High School? How are they? -
Ok, gotcha. Lol.

Thatās ok. I have time today. Iāll just go watch it and see for myself... š¤·š¾āāļø

Well, where are those stats? Iām eager to see...
-
Good points, but I donāt think itāll be 30-0. This will be a win for BU bu 2 scores. Iām thinking like 21-31...

Huffman Hargrave @ Vidor - Senior night 2020
BMTSoulja1 replied to Boneyard Boys's topic in High School Football
That offense worked like a charm I remembered. One year you had a HUGE and mean oline that made it work in 2009. I remember it worked when you had a special athlete running it in Quirante. You have to have one or the other to run it successfully. Vidor havenāt had one or a combination of both in a while. I say just run a conventional offense until those two components show themselves at the high school... -

I seen this angle. Looks to me if the Nederland player didnāt push off on the PNG receiver, kid wouldāve at least put a hand on the football. -
Swing out clubs open on Wednesday and Friday nights. So you wonāt have to worry about our coaches boing in there. šššš
