1. Yeah that stinks for the kids, that ought to be north forest week lol
2. thanks pats. Im confused why the JV GCM and BH only ever play once? They did the same thing last year, seems like that would be one series you would ensure gets played twice yearly.
3. pats is this posted online anywhere? would like to see all undersquad schedule as well. thanks
4. Nice write up, look forward to watching him play this year. Not sure what to expect from Lee this year, was thinking they may even  have some freshman play up ?
5. Just saw this list so here are a few I know. #1, Peter Gardere, also QB for UT, did not go to Baytown Lee lol. He went to Houston Lee. #2) West Brook - Justin Wise '96 played at Lamar, not sure if he played any minor league ball or not Pete Willets - Collin County JC, Houston Baptist #3) Baytown Lee- Keith Hart played at Lubbock Christian 99' and was naia player of the year also played some minor league ball for the red sox Pat Holmes 99', San Jac, Kansas #4)Baytown Sterling - Russell Chandler '94 - Houston Baptist Sean Salinas  96' not 97' Kade Johnson 97' UT, Seminole JC, drafted 2nd round brewers in 99' Dustin Lansford '98 McClennan JC, drafted 5th round brewers in 99' Chris Fadal 96', Houston Baptist Brandon Maricle 97' - McClennan JC, Arkansas State
6. Who is he? I didnt recall any freshman on the varsity at lee last year?
7. didnt the gregory kid go there as well?
8. whats a projected starting lineup for rss right now? how many bca kids did they get? the russell kid may end up being their #1 pitcher
9. Yeah I was talking about LaPorte having open enrollment. I had spoken to a coach at LaPorte who told me he had a kid from Baytown who enrolled in LaPorte but just had to provide his own transportation in which he did. He told me he was MVP of the district but until now the name had not clicked. Wow what a big loss for Lee the past two years, yikes.
10. shouldnt he have been an lee kid anyway? I thought i heard he did the open enrollment deal at LaPorte? If so how did hackney let that happen
11. Welcome to the forum Mr. Garcia lol
12. GCCISD should have let olin moved to Sterling before he left, instead we got option football and an 0-10 record to show for it with participation numbers about to hit all time lows
13. How does crosby feel about running the option/wishbone?  I hear Addudel could be available  ;D
14. So Goose creek has lee at 1700, GCM at 1800 and RSS at 2200 but they cant figure out how to allocate the numbers were they are all 4a schools? Doesnt make sense. Baytown sun had an article this weekend that sterling had 2100 kids last realignment and the 4a cut off was 2065 LOL . Give me a break, nice job Gooden and York!
15. Considering Lee is probably way under the 4A mark it should be do-able as in next week. What is the purpose of having one of the smallest 5a schools in the state? The district increases travel costs and outside of Laporte does not have a rivalry feel to it. All of baytown mixed with BH, crosby and Dayton would be awesome. GCCISD could easily reallocate the kids to make it happen but I have a feeling it has to do with $$$ regardless of what is best for the kids. Sending RSS up against schools like NS isnt fair, we might as well be 4a. And yes I know, even at the 4a level RSS would not be great but atleast the playing field would be level. Rumor is school board would vote to do it but Toby York wont even listen to it.
16. I think alot of BH successes are because Denny is a heck of a QB. He has got size, speed and can throw the ball not to mention comes from athletic family. Gage was pretty lucky to have a kid like that to start with, he is in good shape for atleast two more years after this one.
17. Instead of who? Man i dont get it, why arent we rumored to get in a district with gcm, bh and lee? What does York have against having 3 4a high schools?
18. huh? And no, are you grading posts?
Joe Bob ---really????-you don't proofread your posts???
19. Actually yes they looked pretty good last year when they played GCM correct? I have not seen the plays that BH ran from the RSS offense this year. In fact almost all of what I see are the FB dives and the QB keeper. At the younger level I can assure you 99% of the plays are FB dives into a wall of defenders with a roll out QB throw that is just a prayer and a back side screen that has yet to work.  More misdirection and less FB dives please.

I hope the RSS coach went to the GCM BH game because the same offense sure looked a lot different. BH ran it pretty good, lots of misdirection, lots of short quick passes, multiple options on each play. When RSS runs it, the QB never pitches it when he keeps it and the passes are usually long hail mary passes instead of the quick hitters that BH ran. I know BH is on year two of running the system but this isnt rocket science.
Do you think BH ran the offense as effectively in year 1 as they do this year? The offense will work. It's the execution that has to be polished.
