Silsbee QB Thomas was 2nd team Allstate. Dallas wasn't allstate.

Thomas had a better individual season over Dallas no matter how you wanna trick ur mind spin it. For a kid to score 71tds, 5100 total yards, go 4 rounds deep and not win the WRS award is a travesty. Most of you seem to look at WOS team and vote. If this award is for the single best individual football player on the offensive side of the ball then Dontre Thomas was your guy and you voters got it wrong. Also, Innis Gaines is the best defensive player in the area this year. Silsbee also has a rb in Adonis Thomas rush for 1,250 yards and two strong WRS who caught over 2000 yards. Silsbee offense was on another level this year. This was the top award in sets that the top players didn't win.

Cardinalbacker, I remember you from football season. Silsbee can alway pencil in a win vs BC.

I understand your theory but also use this theory. Take Thomas away from Silsbee, they go 3-7 miss the playoffs . Take Dallas from WOS, they still go at least 3-4 rounds deep in the playoffs. Thomas was the most valuable player. Silsbee can only play the schedule in front to of them. Look at Dontre's numbers vs playoff teams.

Silsbee should be motivated by getting snubbed at the Willie Ray Smith Awards. They should use that as more fuel on the fire.

WOS deserve the award but the offensive award was wrong if you have seen both play like I have. WOS was lead by their defense. Silsbee lead by offense.

Dontre Thomas was one of the best offensive players in the state not area. 71 TDs, 1,800 yards rushing, and 3100 passing. He was clearly the best athlete for this award on offense. WOS players congrats but the offensive winner was wrong.

If you haven't seen Silsbee play, how do you think we will lose to a slower team. This isn't your usual Silsbee ball club. This team goes 10-11 deep and not miss a beat. Over the past 10years they haven't been this deep. Have you seen them play???

Mosshill, Silsbee will advance to state! If you haven't seen them play I would recommend you check them out. The 31 pt win vs HJ was no fluke.

They for Silsbee to advance or wins state is defense, free throws, and making the outside shot. I'd like to see a game where Jordyn Adams, Ricky Maze, and Harris all get hot from the outside while Grubbs,Barnes, and Thomas work down low.

I have been reading on twitter where both of these guys will be getting looks by the NFL. Jarian Rhone will be working out at WR and Jeremy Johnson QB. Shout out to both of these kids for the hard work they are putting in.

Silsbee just needs to avoid poor shooting nights and need to crank it up on defense. I think they will be fine.

I hope HJ makes it to Regionals. It's hard to see 2 of their top 3 scorers are out hurt.
