Yeah his freshman year, Devon was about 6'0, sophomore year about 6'2, and last year another few inches at 6'4. I think Adam's could be a half inch taller closer to 6'5. I think Devon could have gotten a D1 offer or 3 in football s well looking at his size. I remember back when Chris Miller played for Silsbee. He was 4A Player if the Year about 6'3 avg 25ppg and 15 or so rebs a game. I think he could have been a solid DT, DE, or maybe TE. He did hve a very nice college career at TSU and Houston Baptist playing basketball.

Yeah Willie Jones was 6'4 or 6'5. Also Silsbee had a kid back the 1st time they lost to Yates in the playoffs I think it name Thomas who lived in Silsbee moved to PA and moved back along with Jake Dobbins. I remember coach Sigler 1st year back and that heart breaking lost to Waco Lavega with 1.8 sec left in the Regional Finals. Think we were in the old 3A.

No, Silsbee lost to Carthage at Lamar in football that season. Those 2 of those 3 averaged over 20ppg. Yes Silsbee lost to Yates that year in basketball in the 3rd round by 12.

Reed, Elam, Zayon Jackson, and others were still playing football in the playoffs.

Devon McCain is averaging 22.6ppg this year and 8 rebs 5.5 assists. To me that's about a 25point difference or more. Silsbee would have won my 28 plus. When you guys come to Silsbee, you will see. I pray all kids are healthy for the rest of the year.
