I watched Silsbee shoot lights out a few times from the free throw line this season. The Hitchcock game was one of them. I agree careless unforced early turnover hurt.

I can see another 2-3 inches in height before he graduates.

I heard Silsbee 7th grade is very very good. Not sure about 8th grade and JV.

I did like the way Jonathan Cartwright played. Is he a sophomore. Hit a few 3s and a And 1. I could see Jones coming in his junior year at 6'3 or taller. He isnt done growing. Projected starting lineup nxt year? Not much size. Jones Johnson Arline Cardinal Cartwright

Wheatley made plays at the end. Silsbee had a point blank layup at the goal and passed the ball.

Don't forget Sealy has 2 other 6'7 mods who later transfered to Brookshire. That Brookshire team lost by 20 to Silsbee the next year which was Coach Sigler 1st year back.

Silsbee had their chances to win this game. Free throws, bad passes, and bad 3 point shooting took us out.

I dont recall Silsbee losing in thr 2nd round since maybe 2004?

Good season Tigers. Hard fought game just came up a little short.

I will say Silsbee is battle tested as always. Lots of playoff off experience for both teams. Silsbee cant turn the ball over like I have seen. Lazy passes, stripe after rebounds, and mosses layups are my concern.

I think Silsbee biggest problem has been rebounding and turnovers. I've watched 7-8 games this year and we miss alot of layups at point blank rang. If Rice and Boulwen can stay out of foul trouble, I really like our chances. Playing uptempo is playing right into what we like to which is run and gun. I think we see more Arline, Gaines, and maybe Cartwright with the pace this game will be played at. I saw Silsbee has another kid maybe off the JV who looked to be around 6-5. Maybe he can buy us a few minutes. Im sure of his name.

I've been more right than wrong. I dont think Tarkington would ever be a school Silsbee would consider playing. That would be like lining up Woodville or Huntington. I mean whats the point of laying a 60pt beat down on a team. That would be worst than playing some of the team in district. I do find it odd that a person would come on this board to attack a Silsbee player when your school is Tarkington. As far as I know, Tarkington has never been a powerhouse in sports. Maybe im wrong again. Tarkington poking the bear when the bear isn't on your schedule is wild. Silsbee did blow them out in football. What I do know is that Rice would hang 20 and 20 on them. A 25-10 record vs mostly losing record teams is hardly anything to be excited about.

Tarkington. Man get on somewhere. Tarkington lost to Silsbee by damn near a 100 a few years back in the 1st round of playoffs. Silsbee is better off just going to practice to get s better run that playing Tarkington. I thought you were going to say Untied or someone that mattered. 😂😂
