Johnson at QB is going to give everyone hell. Its been a while since Silsbee has had a legit dual threat QB. Last one I remember was Dontre Thomas. Silsbee OL is legit and has a bunch of size. #0 and #20 are good at RB. WRs will continue to improve but I liked #6 in particular. The more reps the better he will get. DL maybe be one fo the best in the district. Great job adjusting and stopinf the run. LB could be the Best in 4A overall. Good speed all around. Secondary very young by plays hard. Almost had a pick 6 in the 4th. Silsbee had to have around 15 penalties last night. Some were questionable but were called. It is week 1 and alot of games left Overall Grade B-

Had a 82 yard TD run i saw. If Silsbee will wrap up and tackle, they can shut it down.

Silsbee has about 10 penalties in the 1st half.

Silsbee secondary had some issues last season. The Jasper game is one I remember the most.

The UIL and Brenham will block that transfer. Ive heard he hasn't participated in any off season work outs and came in about 20lbs over last season weight. He and the Brenham Head Coach really got into it. Next year I could see him over at Navasota if he plays football again. His recruiting stock just went to zero almost.

Silsbee is a run 1st team. Having 2 backs and a very athletic mobile QB who has a very good arm will have defenses on their toes. I predict Silsbee to go 11-3.

Kimball will own 4A D1 for some years. Silsbee will their chances in the next year or 2 at the DII title. Having any Dallas teams in 4A is still a joke I dont find humorous..4A and below should be small town teams.
