On the K Png game it should have ended as a tire, was a non conference game and should have ended as a tie with no overtime...and you are right..BMT B will be tough to beat

be prepared to back up your statements to the board. If you have a team Beat and they ask for a running clock and you refuse and run the score up, you will have to explain why you choose to go around the rules and intentionally humiliated a group of 7,8 year olds, so go ahead and do what you think you need to do.

Wow...forget the running clock, so because you are mad at a team or teams you have already played you are prepared to take it out on a  group of kids that had nothing to do with it....wow that will teach them

Dawgs of blue the game was not stopped by Kountze...there was a running clock on the second half and they did not change the quarter on the clock.....so know what you are saying before you say it....hate of to the blue team..that Number 1 could start on most SR teams

Aside from the urge to correct your spelling and grammar, I would also like to say, quit complaining about trivial stuff that really has no effect on the football games or the league in general.  These STJFL teams raise plenty of money.  I know, I pay quite a bit for my son to play every year.  I also coach his team.  The league has a surplus of funds [u]every[/u] year.  Have you ever gone over the speed limit...ever?  There are signs that prominently post the speed limit.  There are people that die in car wrecks every day due to speeding.  My insurance premiums raise every year due to the high cost of auto repair, medical bills and life insurance payouts.  Thanks for speeding and causing my insurance premiums to skyrocket.  Sounds stupid, doesn't it.  Well, so does your post.

Sorry this post just showed...but you are an idiot....small leagues who don't have a lot of corporate sponsors barely get by....we pay the refs out of the concession stand...you don't know half of what you think you know...just because you pay a bunch of money for your kid doesn't mean every league has enough money for everything so go back into your little world and let the rest of us deal with reality

Heard of a situation and would like to hear opinions on it.

Situation:
One team has won the football game with less than a minute to go. No way the opposing team can come back so the winning team is going to take a knee. The loosing teams coach calls a time out. Then tells his kids to hit the quarterback before he has a chance to kneel the ball.

My Opinion:
I don't think that type of coaching should be allowed with any age group or any league and that coach needs to reconsider why he is coaching and should not be allowed to attempt to influence young minds. Kids these days need positive role models and positive influences and need to learn how to win, and how to lose. Anyone can win with a good attitude, to lose and be able to be a good sport and remain positive takes character and thats what youth sports should be about building.

Sorry to hear about your player. Did anyone tell your president. I spoke to him throughout the day and never heard anything about it. We found out after the game why the kid who delived the hit did not get up. He has been playing with bruised ribs and did not tell anyone so he could play. Talk about tough little one. Hope your player is better.

At the end of the first overtime starting CB got hurt and went out after possibly putting the best hit I've seen a little  player deliver, then they were able to score......an awesome  to watch....both teams played all  with good sportsmanship.....

Its a shame that y'all forget about the small schools....Kountze won 47-24 without one of their starting backs and one of their starting lineman , just saying big schools lookout
