We use Sean Salisbury out of Houston. I can ask him if he is taking on any new clients. I will text you later and get some info on your son so I can pass that along to Sean.

No idea. Won't know for sure until we hit the field for the first game Saturday.

Hate that for these kids. Have been part time training with them over the past few weeks. They worked hard in practice this week. They will bounce back and be better next year.
-
What can u say to what our kids did. Other that GREAT GAME BULLDOGS.
-
Hats off to both teams. These kids worked very hard to get to the final game... Ours just had enough to make it work.. Nice win for our Bulldogs....

Anybody have a clue when and where Ozen plays crosby?
-
Do we know when the Ozen and Central games will be played yet?
-
54-30. Prayers for Landon King #6
AMEN to that. The kids came back from that and played their guts out. -
Our kids left it all on the field last night. Played their guts out and never quit. Hopefully next week they can do the same and keep the mental errors to a minimum....
Having watched not just our games but a few others while doing work for rivals this year. The officiating has been much to be desired.. That being said the crew that worked the Ozen game last night was by far one of the best this year.

Great Kid. Have watched him since he was at West End Little league. I coached his brother last year in the Jr league at Beaumont Baseball. Great family.

Have to correct your correction. Song is 'Centerfield'
Carry on.Yes it is. It's about playing in the outfield. Love the song...

Both WB and Central are getting kids that should by area go to Ozen. Until they stop letting them go across town for high school it will continue. Again "WE" the parents need to step up and help fix this issue. I guarantee you if the rosters for each school were pulled and addresses were looked at the majority of kids slotted for Ozen will be at either WB or Central. Until the perception of Ozen changes this will continue. My wife has worked at Ozen for the past 5 years I have seen where it has come from in that time frame. It has gotten a lot better. Parent involvement is the key. We have to not only hold our kids to a higher standard but also those who teach/coach them. Hopefully the BOM can help get our district sorted out. Most of you probably don't know but that student led movement that really put the pressure on the school board this summer was lead by students from Ozen. My wife's students in fact. We need to follow the example they set and help fix the issues. WE have an uphill battle going forward and I hope our coaching staff gets the support they need.
-
It is a conundrum for sure. Hopefully the BOM can help out with the enrollment issues. The biggest problem the 3 high schools deal with is the perception of the campuses. Right or wrong both Central and Ozen have a bad rep and WB doesn't. Those of us who are close to what's going on can say differently. It's ine of the main reasons my son is at Ozen. He is slotted for WB but he did not want to deal with all the crap he had to at Marshall in high school. So if you happen to see 5' 11" Red Head on the sidelines this year working with Coach D and playing baseball this year and Football next year that's my oldest. Would not have him anywhere else. We as parents need to step up and fill the gaps to make the school our kids attend the best. We all can make a difference.

Lamar you make it sound like your the one playing every Sat. That would make a good SNL prop, I can see it Lamar wearing his old PNG uniform from his youth football says saying to Coach Toby " I am a winner put me in Coach, put me in Coach" I can hear that John Cougar song playing in the back ground " Put me in coach, I ready to play" :P
Hate to correct you but if your going to make a quote especially a musical one please get the artist right. it's John C. Folgerty and the song is the Outfield.... Not John Cougar/Mellencamp......

Not really sure about things going on over at central coaching wise. I did notice they had twice the amount Ozen did when we played them a few weeks ago for the soul bowl. I do video work for Rivals and was on the sideline so I saw that first hand. Been doing that for the past 8 or so years. We also lost a Trainer at the high school level so the district has hired some EMT's to cover the holes that can't be done by Coach D from Ozen and the middle school Trainer. Being a full-time Paramedic I have been working those as needed along with helping out Coach D at Ozen games. That being said I have seen first hand what the Ozen staff is doing with our kids and have been very impressed by them. My son who is a freshman tells me daily that the guys have lots of trust issues with what has happened since they have been in school. Quite a few of them also don't trust some of their teammates which is also causing issues.. Hopefully as Coach Suggs moves forward this stuff will change. From talking with him multiple times since this summer and also being around him I get the impression he can and will. He is also a man of character which our kids need as an example.
-
I could not agree more. With the coaching merry go round the team cohesiveness suffers. That should change moving forward.
-
My wife teaches at Ozen. I have a pretty good report with Coach Suggs and she even said I should talk with him about it. After we are done with our season I may just do that. We have a great group of coaches that are trying to get the whole group on the same page. I think with all the turn over the last few years not to mention a total change from a spread to a more pro-style offense has made it a little more difficult on the players.
-
They have 7.. It's very tough for them to get the job done. Wish their was a way for some with coaching experience to volunteer to help them out. I for one would love to do so. Have the experience just not the degree.
-
No, I think they took yall to the woodshed. 1-0
Now that's funny!!! :)The only real loss our Sr team had was to PNGW.. We handled everyone else on the schedule with ease.. Must have these confused...
-
Quite a bit of what happened last year is a real head scratcher. The core group save one or two are going to make some strides in the off season. Some of the mistakes can be fixed with the right coaching. The defense next year SHOULD be much improved with the amount of underclassmen that have had to play this year. We have let 3 games get away this year due to not so smart play that led to miscues that were unrecoverable. We just have to fix those mental errors that is a big key..

Wos vs lcm------wos 33-0
Jasper vs bc--------jasper 39-0
Sr. Big School
PNG w vs vidor--------png 33-13

ROTFLMAO. We already took this same Lumberton team to the woodshed and will do the same again. -
One of the best things u can do is try getting him into football camps during the summer. Most of the major universities offer them.
