Hats off to Silsbee, they have an explosive offense and should be able to make a run for the district chamionship.  CLeveland hung in there very well in the first half but a couple of big plays and a few hundred mistackles broke their spirit and allowed a better silsbee team to open in it up.  As far as sportsman ship I just remember 10 getting hit by 6 in the enzone as he catches a td and then threw the ball at him.  Other than that I thought both teams played fine, with or without metal detectors,lol...who knows why but who cares honestly..its for safety right?  I dont think the play calling should be questioned but i think that certain personel should be. But that's my only spat on the coaching.  They lost 5 coaches last year and are doing a remarkable job with all those so called thugs, gangsters, and criminals that everyone on here is always so quick to point out. Good luck to Silsbee againts Lumberton and lets GO INDIANS againt Brookshire!

I will admit silsbee has owned cleveland, the record speaks for itself...that district has normally dominated 22-3a in the playoffs as well but we all know that the last two years have went to 22-3a...Silsbee is a better team than cleveland, no doubt...but cleveland will keep it close...I'm sticking to that!

yes they did and i still think they will but not by the 40 point margin that is expected

I think 2-2, hj couldnt move the ball against cleveland but they scored on two big plays and they must of fumbled the ball 4-5 times with cleveland recovering at least 3 fumbles.  Cleveland moved the ball well but couldnt finish the drives, they too scored on two big plays, however they threw two pics and had a fumble...clevelands d looked pretty scrappy, their rb looked legit but they still have some problems pitching and catching the ball and with 4 wide that aspect will have to get better!!!

Huffman will lose to the panther this year...district championship is between the trojans and panthers!!

This years 22-3A race will be a good one...Cold city is always nasty so you know they are in the hunt, Huffman has got a system that they are good at so their continuity is strong which makes them tuff, Liberty looks to be very talented and is returning a number of starters so that makes them a big factor, and cleveland took a chuck norris beard round house kick last summer from their admin who dismantled their coaching staff, they have since then totally rebounded and are looking ready for another post season appearence...the rest of the district will not be much of a factor!

yeah splendora was pretty stout when they were running that misdirection offense that tarkington runs...very similar kids...wasn't there another school that used to be good and ran that offense???
