Apparently you weren't at the HJ game, not taking anything from Franklin or Marshall they are both great pitchers but the rotation doesnt end there.

Its gonna be cold! Pitchers are gonna have a hard time getting started. Kountze looked good against Hardin Jefferson. The defense and pitching was top notch, the batting was less than desirable. But HJ had a quality pitching staff. They didn't cut Kountze any slack, all four that took the bump for HJ were qualiy. I believe Kountze is gonna have their hands full with Silsbee tonight.

Hey aggies, kountze might have been 2-5 but 3 of those losses were from a combined 9 points and against ec which was a 35-7 loss, kountze put the ball inside the 5 yard line 4 times but had no line to get the extra push to put it in the endzone. Dont know what games you watched last year if any but your making assumptions from a record.

Kountze lost to anahuac woodville and kville by a combined 9 points last. And with harper at qb and many skill kids to throw to out of the spread including arnold look for kountze to have a big year and get 2nd or 3rd. Imo

I look at this and I think by the time a student athlete gets into high school they settle into a sport they feel they like the most, or better at, etc. They continue to play that sport. You have a few exceptions like at smaller schools. I feel though as if the two seasons are too close together because by the time a player is through playing basketball he finds himself having a tough time going out to the baseball field right before district starts and earning himself a spot. And to say a baseball player may decide not to play basketball so he would have a better chance of making the baseball team. Some may argue that the coaches will give them a fair opportunity, but in most cases that is a false accusation. This draws kids who might help out the other program strictly into only playing their "better sport"

Falsely informed kolek is a junior but next year he will be a top 5 round guy

Not sure where you got your information, but yes they went to the state semi finals in football, 2 rounds deep in basketball, but didn't even make the playoffs in baseball
