  1. I think everyone agrees on Central being a dirty/unethical team; however, despite the senseless fouls and bad officiating the teams in this district are going to have to find a way to play good soccer and win as a team. There is no doubt Central has a few good players, but in my opinion there are at least four or five better "TEAMS" in the district. I am sure that Vidor and Nederland both feel that they should have won their games against Central. The next time they play, each team is going to have to play their style of soccer and not lose their composure. By the way Yourworstnight, congrats on your win! You need to stay humble though. It's great that you scored so many goals early, and you have even played well early against some good teams in the district. However, your team tends to fall apart and run out of gas after that against the better teams. It's going to take 80 minutes of solid soccer to beat a good team.
  2. He's a solid player and LC-M biggest threat; however, he's tends to be right side dominant. At least that seems to be the case in the games I have seen him play.
  3. It will be better to state point totals instead of records.
  4. Sharkfutbol, None of the goals were from slipping mistakes. LC-M's goal was due to the ball slipping out of the keeper's hands as he hit the ground. Nederland's first goal was a chip shot over the keeper's head. Nederland's second goal was due to the LC-M's keeper predicting a cross or shot to the near post. He ended being out of position and gave up the goal to the near post. No slips!
  5. This was a great game by both teams despite a muddy field with five feshman for Nederland making a huge impact on the game. Nederland also continues to get strong play from sophomore sweeper Washburn and seniors Keeling and Clarke. Freshman Lawler did a great job of shutting down LC-M's Leger.
  6. How are practices going this week with the bad weather? Who's not practicing?
  7. How about that Nederland team than many were saying didn't belong in the playoffs with a 5-5 record? That just goes to show you how records can be decieving. 22-4A Dominance!!!
  8. As much as I hate this "weak" district and "strong" district stuff, Dayton having a great year in 22-4A doesn't validate anything about 21-4A. Dayton has a heck of a team this year, but what does that have to do with any of the other teams in 21-4A? No disrepect! It just does little to prove anything about 21-4A.
  9. Many people might not know about him outside our district, but I can bet you the coaches do. If you have watched any Nederland games this year, he has been double-teamed on a consistant basis. Very few teams run the ball to his side, and many teams have had their qb roll out to the other side.
  10. All I was saying was don't talk smack all year, then back down when you have a chance to prove it.
  11. Man, it seems like all season Barbers Hill fans have been posting with such confidence. They have been talking about how they were not the "weak" district. After reading some the the recent posts, it's seems as though you have already been beaten by Central. What's up with that?
  12. The Golden Triangle has a great tradition of winning. As much as others may hate it, there is great pride in being from this area. One year doesn't change this fact.
  13. Man, Dayton and BH needs to get a room. You can't hold hands through the playoffs. Just screwing with you. Seriously, many people have tons of respect for the Dayton program. Yall have a great tradition of winning. As far as predictions, that's exactly what they are. BH, I really don't know squat about your program or traditions. No disrespect!
  14. WOS92, why are you so worried about 4A??? Let the Bulldogs be proud of their team and brag at the fact that got the last word on those nay-sayers. Go win that title you have claiming you were going to win since moving down to 3A!
  15. New coach? You are calling for a new coach a Vidor? After the Nederland game you wanted to carry him off the field!
  16. Congrats Bulldogs! I don't care what your record is. Go out and take care of business next week.
  17. Any HS team getting to play on a professional field is great for the kids. It's what most of them dream about.
  18. Nederland is supposed to fix up their stadium for next season.
  19. Nederlands pass defense is soft to say the least, but I don't think Lumberton will have the same kind of time to throw the ball as Dayton did. Also, Lumberton doesn't have the same caliber of athletes that Dayton has this year. If Nederland gets ahead early and runs it all night, Lumberton's offense won't see the field much.
  20. Lucky, "crybaby" and "tattle tail" are awesome comebacks........for an 8 year old! To all the young men playing tomorrow night: Play your hearts out and have a great, injury-free game!
  21. Lucky, Jason Taylor said it best. "You need a hug and a hobby." It's way to easy to get under your skin!
