  1. Correction, the PN-G Boys shared the district title with Nederland.
  2. Spring Break will throw a little wrinkle into this scenerio.  Is anyone going to be missing players?
  3. As hard as I know the maintenance department works on the field, you have to be delusional to believe this. I have seen many fields throughout the state myself during all seaons. As nice as our field looks during football season, the field gets overused and is in very poor condition by the end of the school year. It's nearly impossible to maintain it. As much as I would rather Nederland keep a natural playing surface, it's not fair to the kids who have to play in slop every year. Even if field turf is not the answer, something needs to be done to enable all sports to have a fair shake of playing on nice field conditions.
  4. The bottom line is the education of our children and the environment in which they are able to learn. We have to ask ourselves if our teachers can provide these children with a 21st-Century education with existing technology and facilities. I do think they could get by with what they are working with; however, I don't want my children learning in that type of setting. Face it, these building were not built to keep up with today's technology demands, and our children deserve to learn in an environment which they can achieve their greatest potential. In addition, as great as it sounds to save money and "renovate" or "remodel," this has already been done. How many times can we continue to do this?
  5. This may be true, but they didn't even win their own district this year. Although I do expect Brenham to win, I think it will be a close contest.
  6. I heard that PN-G won in a shootout over LC-M. If that is true, Nederland has wrapped up the District Championship.
  7. Na, they only have one team and consider themselves JV.
  8. My pick would be English to work on your grammar and spelling.
  9. I never saw a prediction for this boys game but it was a good result against a much improved Ozen team.
  10. Heard PN-G was down 2-0 and had a player leave hurt.
