griff you have it right. last yr HF took WOS to the wire and they had a chance to win. i like the enthusiam here right now and the program is going in the right direction. that being said i don't think HF will beat WOS, but i can promise you they will give it their all and it will be a good game.

Jeffcoat really looked good on the mound for HF. HF should have won this game.
should, could, would, but you didn't. adminbaberuth is right hard to win at the Box. Tigers squeaked one out and a win is a win. Go Tigers!!!
All i have heard was how good silsbee was. Take away 2 errors on HF and they would have won because silsbee would not have scored runs those innings. I was not impressed at all by silsbee. HF does not have a win in district and silsbee only wins 3-2. Silsbee playoff run will be one and done.
One and done huh? All because of your great scouting ability after watching just one game. ::) You will be proven wrong.
If you say so Aggie, now give yourself some negative Karma! ;D
You where not impressed with Silsbee and yet hf could not win the game. Ok.
Correct I was not impressed with Silsbee.
And yet yall could not win the game. You lost. You lost to a team that did not impress you. You lost to a team that traveled to your field and won the game. You lost when yall played a near flawless game. You lost when yall could not hold on to the lead. You lost, face it. Silsbee playes baseball, sometimes good sometimes not so good. We win some of those games and some we don't. As far as playing impressive baseball, we are still working on that, but it's coming. Silsbee does not care if you where impressed or not. You lost.
that was impressive

gonna be a lot shorter list this year than last.

Tarkington @ HF, score was 6-3 in game like scrimmage. Tarkington had one home run and Smelley was 2-4. HF had Miguez 2-4, 2rbi and Jannise 1-4 1rbi and a solid 2 innings to start on the mound. Overall both teams looked decent for opening scrimmage.
Stats from the Orangeleader: H-F, Trevor Bell 5-115, Rhett Williamson 5-30, Cameron Malveaux 3-35, Sam Huff 2-15, Layne Miguez 1-10, Kevin Carmon 1-10 Dante Smith QB 17-33-1 With 33 pass attempts and 17 completions, it sounds like the Horns are spreading it out pretty well. Not too sure about the Horns not using all their weapons. 16 incompletions equals about 52%, the question is how many of those INC were dropped passes? I'm sure Miquez and Carmon were thrown to more than just once. How many times did the receiving corp have balls hit their hands and not make receptions. Maybe REALTALK can help me with this one ::)
neither Miguez or Carmon were targeted much more than that and it's a shame, one was the leading receiver going into the game and both can actually catch the ball IF it gets to them.

From what I understand rip it will not be allowed and marucci's are on the bubble. My son used marucci during summer ball and liked it. I still saw a few long balls, but there will not be as many as there was last year.
