Nederland will have a defense a few notches better than Vidor but Silsbee played their Sophomore QB on the 1st few drives of the game and he didn't comeback until that last drive to force OT and to win the game in OT. Houston Worthing was a pretty bad team to be honest. Im still not sold on Silsbee's defense just yet giving up 39 to Vidor. Nederland and Silsbee have played alot of classic games. I expect nothing different this week. Silsbee loves to run the the ball to open up the pass. Nederland keeps it real close. Silsbee 33 Nederland 30 F

Yeah its alot that goes on outside of sports. Praying for alot of those kids. My wife worked for Region 4 and some of those schools are in and bad shape.

Worthing seemed like a JV team. Bern a while sine seen a high school team that bad. Silsbee would have hung 90 without a running clock. HISD has fallen off .

Yes #19 is very very good.

Yeah I could see him getting over 400 carries this year and hitting close to 3000 yards if they make it back to state.

Silsbee might need to let the sophomore play more. He looked very poised on that last drive and OT. I like the Breen kid too. He has a good arm and pretty accurate. Sedrick Mathews is able to role out of the pocket and do a little bit more. One thing I noticed is that Carter Howard has grown quit a bit. Maybe 3 inches and 20lbs. He will be a solid running back along with #26 for Silsbee. Silsbee DL isn't that big. They don't see that Slot T/Wing T or whatever Vidor runs often. Got to stuff the run better moving thru the season. Can't give up 39pts to Vidor. I do expect Vidor to be a playoff team.
