Regardless of the score predictions, everybody knows this is going to be a GREAT game... 2 teams with something to fight for, and 2 teams that have good seasons going so far. I hope Vidor wins, but as a football fan, I'm looking forward to watching 2 great SETX teams go at it! Vidor and PNG always play each other tough, and it's always a hard-fought game. With that being said... Vidor by 4 GO Pirates!

As a Vidor fan... Why in the heck would we want to rest our starters? This is football, not gymnastics. You have a chance to finish out in 2nd place, and play an easier team in the first round.

With the tragic passing of Matt, it really made me realize something... When it comes to football, and sports, we all get hyped up and trash talk like no other... We all disagree with people from other cities, because it seems like they don't know your side of the story. We all have our heated moments, and it gets the best of us at times. But I have NEVER seen so much love from our community like I have these past couple of days. When it comes down to it, we're all family here, we all represent SETX. I think it is easily the coolest and most awesome thing to see everybody come together, to remember and support someone they might not have even knew. Gives me chills to hear all the stories of people doing something to help out or show their support. And that, my friends, is why SETX is the best part of Texas. As a resident and fan of Vidor, I think I can speak for all of us when we say we truly thank you. God bless every single one of you... And Matt Thomas, R.I.P. brother! God gained an amazing one this week. Go Pirates!

As a Vidor fan, I think there 3-4 people on here, who I won't name names that give us/the team a bad rep... And they drive me crazy.

The simple fact is that this is a HIGH SCHOOL football game... Arguing like a bunch of little girls is going to do what? Absolutely nothing. All it does is make fellow fans/citizens of your respected communities shake their heads. These are KIDS playing a game. While it is great to support them, making yourself look like fools on the internet is embarrassing. Arguing about who has the better stats, athletes, or past records is all extremely irrelevant. Do stats and past records come into play when the teams meet on Friday? NO. You people are ridiculous. Get a hold of yourselves and stop acting like children. Everybody has a right to their own opinion, and that is fine. If someone disagrees with your prediction, who freaking cares? Have enough respect and class to accept their opinion as well. With that being said, Go Pirates! Everybody in Vidor is rooting for you, win or lose. Best of luck to both teams.
