I am SO glad that they didn't have Niittymaki in goal. He's one of the goalies on my Yahoo! fantasy hockey team. I have four goalies in total.

I've changed up the whole photos area. I decided to use the JAlbum program like Bigdealguy uses. It should be MUCH easier to sort through this pics now. Plus, it should be easier for pages on the site to load because I don't have ten million different thumbnails per page. [Hidden Content]

The ECHL opening day rosters are due @ 2pm CST on Wednesday the 18th. The Wildcatters should cut a couple more players tomorrow, so stay tuned. Oh, an update about Couture.... He's now playing for the Austin Ice Bats of the CHL, who are also affiliated with the Houston Aeros.

There's nothing wrong with a goalie getting "chippy". I love that term. If a goon is on the opposing team, then he is a "cheap-shot artist" and a "thug that doesn't belong in the league". BUT, if that same player is on your team, then he is "chippy" and "plays with a lot of heart". I just found out that tonight's game is NOT being televised. :| And there won't be a radio feed. BUT, we CAN get up-to-date stats now that the ECHL is using LeagueStat: [Hidden Content]

The Wildcatters have two pre-season games in Florida. First one is tonight, and the second one is tomorrow. Both start at 6:30pm CST. B2 networks has both games for $6 each. [Hidden Content] Just click on the Everblades' logo and it will list the two games vs. Texas. Do what we do and hook up a laptop computer to the TV. 8) Let's Go 'Catters!! And remember....the 'Catters are back!!

And they even included Woodsmaster in the article. The game was very fun. It took several tries to get it right, and some of the guys even tripped over each other because they had to skate so close together. [Hidden Content]

It was nice to see Ashlee Langdone and Brian Stacey again. I had Ash sign my Langdone doll that was from a promotion when he played in San Diego.

The scrimmage was great! It was Team Gumper(white jerseys) vs. Team Shipwreck(black). Gumper won by a score of 5-3. Warm-up lasted 6 minutes, first period was 20, intermission was just a minute or two, and the second(and final) period was 15. Goal scorers were by Marco Rosa, Mike Bayrack(2), Kevin Baker(2), Jonathan Paiement, Leon Hayward, and Kevin Asselin. There was one penalty during the "game", which meant for a penalty shot for the Shipwreck(who scored). Referees were the guys from the front office(Steve Samoyedny and Quincy Bird).
