  1. I changed the design again. Not much has changed, but just the fact that the side bar is gone and the links are at the top. Before, I didn't have much room to work with because of the side bar. Now I can add much more to the site. Also, there is an entry page before you get to the main site. Now I have a place to put the disclaimer, the screen resolution best used, and other things. [Hidden Content] And yes, the entry page is the only one with automatic music. Most regular users that bookmark the site will bookmark the home page: [Hidden Content]home.htm A lot of things still need to be worked on. The top links don't want to even out, so I'll have to adjust them.

  4. The S-Kings played us last season in what was known among the hockey forums as the "Bizarro World Kelly Cup". It was called that because the S-Kings and the 'Catters were the two last-placed teams in the whole league, and they only played against each other one time. Victoria won. Hopefully, we will play them for the real Kelly Cup! It would have to be the Finals, due to the difference in conferences. 8) I went to their arena(just outside of it, though, since their season was already over) last April.

  7. Great game by the 'Catters! I'm too sleepy to do a re-cap right now. 8)
  8. Time: 7:05 pm The first 1,000 fans receive a megaphone, courtesy of the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Also: Go Wildcatters!
  9. All you have to do is go to youtube.com and type in "nhl". How about your little Kopriva making a save in Florida during opening weekend? 8)
  10. Yep, bad officiating or not -- the Wildcatters won!
  11. Great game by the Wildcatters! For the first time in team history, the Wildcatters beat the Gladiators! So what if Gwinnett picked up a point by going into overtime. The 'Catters made a great 3rd period comeback! The team played like they did just about every other game of the season. Good 1st period, bad 2nd period, great 3rd period. The officiating could have been better. How about when Matt York jumped Leon Hayward, and pinned him down on the ice and started beating him? He kept on even after the linesmen tried to pull him off. And what was the call? 2 minutes for roughing -- to him AND Leon. Oh, and what about when the Gwinnett goalie, Dan Turple, played the puck outside of the trapezoid? No officials were even looking that direction. Other than that, everything was great. Go 'Catters! Game sheet: [Hidden Content]
  12. What would you do without emoticons, Coop?
  13. That is HILARIOUS! Brent Cullaton used to be the captain of the Laredo Bucks. He was always so nice to us whenever we would go and watch the Bucks play.
  14. [Hidden Content] He'll be playing against a Texas team next weekend when the Lynx come to play the Wildcatters. I can't cheer for the Lynx since they're in our division, but they were one of my favorite teams last year when the Wildcatters didn't play. 8)
  15. Go 'Catters! And I can't wait for next weekend....Augusta has TWO ex-Wildcatters. Jason "Psycho" Kostadine, and good ol' Joe Pereira. Too bad we aren't playing them when the teddy bear toss is going on. It would be priceless to throw a toy cat at Kos(he's terrified of cats)....
  16. His jersey sold for $7,000! :!: [Hidden Content]
  17. That's our Casey! There are some good photos of the fight right here.
  18. I know that it takes time to get things started again, since we went a year without a team. And thanks for the link, it is helpful.
  19. I know about that site, but it hasn't been updated since last year. It still shows that the deadline for signing up is October 15, 2005. :?
  20. I agree. There are a lot of kids around here who want to play, but have to go to Houston to do so. It's either that, or go to mid-county and play in-line hockey. :?

  22. I believe that last season, when Ianiero won POTW, he donated the pucks to the Houston Jr. Aeros or some other Houston youth hockey organization. That's where Robert Dirk's son, Jagger, was playing at the time. I think that Jagger's team won the state championship this past season.
  23. [Hidden Content] Congrats to Kevin!
