they ran a few different guys. In their offense, the pass definitely sets up the run IMO, so it just didn't work with the passing game pretty much under wraps.I think they averaged about 2.5 yds/carry. I will say this, the passes that bellows did complete were very nice throws, he's accurate and had to do some pretty athletic things to get the ball to his guys.

You are right except Texas city is the champ. I think they went undefeated in dist. Dickinson had 1 loss and LM had 2

Not better.... I just try not to make unfounded statements. Both teams have proven to be good and that is a fact by looking at records, etc. I'll leave it at that and will continue to base my posts on facts.

He's in a tough spot....PNG grad that teaches in Dayton. He has taught many of these athletes yet has first hand knowledge of the PNG honor pride and tradition yet . He tells me about it all the time!!! I'm looking forward to seeing it in full force friday. I didn't get the full effect last year, due to it being a somewhat of a meaningless game. Can't wait till all you folks get here....Have a safe trip and good luck to the Indians and Broncos.

fabrication on your part...who has mentioned dayton's history?? No one from dayton mentioned a shutout as far as i've read... the only one saying anything about state power defense, etc was someone from Nederland. Other than that, people have thrown out #'s which are a completely LOGICAL way to look at teams that have yet to face one another during the year... I think you mean BUY into the hype, but whatever... Our players are working their tales off just like they have all season, posters don't speak for the players and their work ethic or approach to a game... also Dave campbell has PNG at #19 and Dayton at #23

To compare defenses you have to compare #'s...you obviously haven't done that. What makes you think our offense isn't clicking???

doesn't matter....but since you brought it up. ray samuels - starting OL evan brown - starting LB Dylan bethea - now a starting DB all missed WOS game due to injuries. Check out Gable and Hynson's tackling numbers and see if we weren't missing a lot the second half.

it's the 31 to friendswood and 22 to WOS that inflate the #.
