  1. Hey WOS87, How about Silsbee? Fielded first varsity team, number of playoff appearance, etc??
  2. Yeah, that's very possible. He'd be pretty upset about their loss to Silsbee that year. Kirbyville went to Silsbee that year and got absolutely stomped, or, I guess you could say " freakin' romped".
  3. Balla was telling everybody that Rhodes wasn't playing. If it were anyone else I'd guess it was a honest mistake, but with Balla, I guess it was just another display of his immaturity.
  4. Any one notice that Balla seems slightly less confident in his Wildcats without Rhodes. Anyone notice that he makes note of Jack Alvarez's terrible play calling. These are actually the smartest things he's done in a while. He's preparing his excuses before hand. Not a bad idea for Wildcat fans. Silsbee will beat the Kirbyville. No doubt about it. I can't wait to get on this forum and see what he has to say afterwards.
  5. Balla, you never cease to amaze me. The inconsistency you noted, is definetly real. Thing thing about that inconsistency is that it stems from the fact that Silsbee is showing a trend of playing up or down to their opponent. This is the reason that Silsbee WILL beat Kirbyville. Read some posts, not even the Silsbee fans take Kirbyville for granted, much less the players. Silsbee players know that Kirbyville can beat them, and this is the very reason that Kirbyville wont beat them. Silsbee will be ready for this Kirbyville team. They respect the weapons on the Kirbyville offense. Also, Balla, what in the world makes you think that Silsbee wont be able to run againt the Wildcats. That big Silsbee line in front of some very good backs wont be stopped by Kirbyvilles defense.
  6. Ok, after the game with WOS, we all know how good Silsbee can be. Yes, even you know that Kvilleballa. I have no doubt in my mind that Silsbee will bring the A game against Kirbyville. These players know how much this game means. The question is, can Kirbyville play on that level? If you think so, tell me why? Balla, I don't care one.......bit about last year. Somebody give me an example from a game from this year that makes them think so. I take Silsbee.
  7. Thanks Birdman, and hey, I would love nothing more than to see BC destroy Kville Friday night. I mean, since I got on this forum and saw the posts from Kvilleballa I've hoped they would lose every game. Please, go down their and beat the Wildcats. Are you going to the game? If so, look up Kvilleballa and get that guy a dictionary. That way, when he goes home to post, if there is any doubt in his mind if the word he is using actually exists, he'll be ready. Again, thanks for the help.
  8. Ok, I'm sure this question won't go unmocked, but the only way for me to find out is to ask. Excuse the ignorance. I know you people HATE to make predictions or assumptions past the current week, but please, humor me on this one. Say, for example, the WOS, Silsbee, and Kirbyville go 1,2,and 3 in District 21-3A. What district would their Playoff Round 1 opponents be from, and give me the abbreviated version of how all this works.
  9. The thing that sticks out to me most is that Jasper has nothing to WIN either. Basketball is going to replace the pigskin very early this year in Jasper. The Seniors put their eyes on graduation and try to forget the worst Jasper football team anyone can remember. The Juniors and Sophomore's work hard in the off-season trying to get that terrible taste out of their mouths. WOS will destroy Jasper.
  10. Gasilla, Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, i've had some family issues to deal with lately. Anyway, do you honestly think I'd make a statement like that if it weren't true? If I thought you'd be able to disprove it, I wouldn't say it. Also, I have a special insight into the matter...I dont think I can make it any more plain without saying it. This incident did happen. No matter what any WOS coach or player tells you, the Silsbee captains will assure that it did happen. Sorry your guys attitude let you down.
  11. Oh ok, much opposition to this statement. Then, as much as i hate to do so, I' d like to point out that I have a particular insight into the matter that I'm assuming many of these other members do not. As i said, at the coin toss, the Stang captains waved off the advance of the Tiger captains to shake hand.
  12. Gostangs, When both teams return from their locker-rooms and the referee and the captains retake the field for the formal announcement ( if you will ) of the result of the coin toss, all was cordial. I am speaking of the actual coin toss, they didnt shake hands. I hope that Coach Hooks was the one with the integrity to tell his players to shake hands.
  13. 92, That was exactly as it appeared. At the coin toss, probably 25-30 minutes before the game, the Mustang captains waved off the Silsbee captain's attempts to shake hands. Totally disrespectful and without class. Although it is widely agreed that these guys play is championship caliber, their attitude is not. Hope it catches up with them in the long run, too bad it wasnt tonight.
  14. The word of the night was, without a doubt........RESPECT. Before the game, at the coin toss, the WOS captains refused to shake the hands of the Silsbee captains. This showed a lack of respect and a total absence of class. Both teams played great football, and the outcome could have gone either way. I don't see any way to argue that point? Either team could've walked off that field with a victory. Alot of people seem to have forgotten those post that read " WOS will be ready for Silsbee" and now reverted to "WOS played their worst game of the year". Silsbee showed their true colors tonight, and have proved that they will not be taken lightly. Crying shame these teams won't meet again. I hope that tonight Silsbee earned the respect of WOS, but more than anything I hope Kvilleballa doesnt have the heart to post for a week. Silsbee wins out in district 21-3A and makes a big dent in the playoffs.
  15. Wow, in my last thread I didnt realize how much worse OF beat Jasper than Kirbyville did. In fact, didnt Kirbyville almost LOSE that game? OF stomped Jasper @ Jasper. Kirbyville pulled out a narrow victory over Jasper @ Kirbyville. This does not bode well for the Wildcats. I just dont think that they the defense to stopped the on fire Bobcats and Brett Ramsey. I've got to take OF.
  16. I have to say BC and KVille stay home this year. They are both suffering big losses and are probably disheartened. I'd love to see OF go into Week 11 at the 3 spot behind Silsbee and WOS.
  17. What information are you basing that statement on. Did your uncle tell you that too? Last year Silsbee beat a much better Kirbyville team than they will face this year. You must realize that without naming him no one gives "your uncle" any credibility.
  18. I have to say that regardless of the outcome in this game, kvilleballa is an embarassment to the Wildcats and the city of Kirbyville as a whole. I think this is going to be a good, close game. I hope to see Orangefield come out with the victory. Orangefield plays with heart, they showed me that against Silsbee. They will be ready for Kirbyville. Orangefield in close one by one touchdown, that is unless the Kirbyville's team has an attitude like kvilleballa's. In that case, they dont have a chance.
