  1. all i am saying is these are two of the best coaches ever in the state and i am sure they have made an impact on the lives of the students they coached.  also, that retirement is from money taken out of their checks throughout the years that they have paid.  if they want to coach, i am sure many schools will be contacting them.
  2. if i remember correctly, when gene walker played, hot dog thompson was the coach.  at the time, one of the most successful coaches in the state.  from there to orangefield then to anahuac.  one of the best of all times.
  3. mike hamilton                    pete garner
  4. marshall higginbotham, kenny roberts, broderick amy.            glen pruitt, rudy zaruba, calvin westcott.
  5. billy lloyd, i understand was pretty good back in the 60's
  6. Who was the best running back in Liberty history
  7. throughout the years, who was and is the best at Barbers Hill
  8. whatever year it was the broncos did well until they met up with brady.  many long time citizens of dayton were on that team and have been very instrumental in making dayton a better place.  if i can find the progaram, i will post their names.
  9. dayton qb has done a great job and will be better next year because of his experience.  spoiled rotten fans say things about a 16 year old who has been great in the position that is the hardest to play.  some may have never had a jock on, much less played the game. some sound like old barbers hill fans from years ago.  get behind stewart, coaches, and players and be proud that the broncos are successful state wide.
  10. any thoughts about the team, maybe 1963, that played brady, or the 1966? or 1976&77 team?
  11. i think the QB played pretty well.  giving up 29 first downs is the problem.  dayton had a great season, but met someone as good, and they got the breaks.
  12. harris rating has la marque by 2.  think this is incorrect unless broncos have several turnovers.  if LM has several turnovers it will be a Dayton blowout.
  13. hope BH does well but 19 4A may be the weakest district in Texas.  hard to figure.
  14. gage has proved that he knows what he is doing and so BH is the winner in this contest.
  15. even though bh is much better coached, the gp speed may wipe out bh at the end of the day.  hill will make palyoffs for a short tour.
  16. he needs rest and if north forest is a problem without him we are in trouble anyway.  4 teams in playoffs and if he is back for that, that is all that counts.
  17. being real is finishing maybe 3rd/4th in the weakest 4A district in texas.
