Daytons freshman beat crosbys freshman 50-6 last year and thats the kids that will be difference makers for dayton this year. Dayton will have some sophmores playing this year that will be like the twins only bigger.

It was 2007 and 2008. What a minute that was dayton not nederland.

I cant believe this many people are entertaining this stupid comment. I bet the dude was laughing when he or she wrote it.

I dont see this game being very close unless nederland turns the ball over alot. Nederland will break 30 on crosbys D and I think crosby will have a hard time scoring 14. Im not knocking crosby I just think nederland will be a very tough matchup for anybody.

What impressed me was the depth size and speed of this years team. Dayton has been hurting for depth for a while. Dayton always had alot of kids play both ways. Liltex what you think about our lb core and defensive line we looked stacked to me.

Going undefeated would be nice but unlikely. Daytons non district schedule along with a tough district will make it hard. I just hope dayton can be healthy and clicking come playoff time. This group of kids should be really good.

Well at least they got one thing right. Dayton does have the best chance at a deep playoff run. Also I think chambers wil be the best qb in our district or should I say he will have the best numbers by the end of the year.

The losses are a little higher than they would be if dayton didnt have such a tough non district schedule every year. Whats our district record last 10 years

Also you are mistaken on what the kids did at dayton. They made a mistake and stew made them pay for it dearly. Four of those kids were starters and dayton still played for the state championship. Stewart put discipline ahead of winning.

So I guess your saying you would rather get beat in the first round than the 3rd round. Makes sense in bh I guess. Also its just been the last 2 years we were beat in the 3rd round. The other 3 were regional final semi final and state final.

Just stating facts. Luckily rankings dont mean crap in high school football. You have to win in the playoffs to advance. Who knows maybe sc will know what that feels like one day. Dayton was looking forward to playing sc last year had no idea mw would punk yall in the first round. But hey it did get you ranked #2.

Couple that with their playoff success last year and the poll makes no sense. Nederland has 16 starters returning about twice as many as sc.

Thats a horrible arguement. Ask any fan coach or player would they rather win district or make a deep playoff run and see what they say. Lm finished 4th in their district 2 years ago and got to play for the state championship. Do you think they would have been happier winning district and going one and done.

Im sure nederland has plenty of kids with football speed. You dont rely think crosby will be better than nederland this year I hope. Crosby lost alot last year and will have a new coach.

Aj was one of the best I have seen. The kid nelson for png had the best half I have seen. I think he had over 200 yds the first half against before we decided to double team him.
