Devin's future is now up to him. Devin go to San Jac and do good for yourself, get your education, and take basketball where it will lead you in your future.
Why would you want to bet against any young mans desire to improve himself? It wasn't Devin on here pumping himself up about where he was going, it was a poster on the board. Bet against the poster, and who is the next victim to be blown up on any message board, not just this one. -
Congrats to Coach Mitchell from the Dumas family. He also coached the 8th grade boys last year and did a great job! We think highly of Josh. Your boy will miss you, but we know we will keep in contact.

I've watched Cleveland play in summer league. Very talented group across the board. Not alot of defense, but could be its just summer league. They have size, are quick, great outside shooting.

Games on Mondays at Liberty Middle school
Teams: Barbers Hill, Crosby, Tarkington, Dayton, Liberty, Hardin, Huffman, and a prep academy, not sure which.
Seen some pretty decent games so far. $2 to get in. -

Actually saw this happen this year at a AAU game, MoCity called a timeout prior to the freethrows. A different better FT shooter got on the line. The refs caught it right away. The players were cracking up. Good job by the Ref, of course the crowd recognized it as well and the opposing team.

Kountze 8th grade team had 4 or 5 5'11- 6'0 or taller kids, athletic, but need a little work.

another knuckle head posting about overated teams...... Kountze was not over rated, New Waverly was the better team tonight. Anyone can be beaten on any day. Great year Lions.

Silsbee and HJ each [b]one[/b] against each other Except for my typo won

Over last few months there has been many arguments about who is better between the above schools. Most of it was fueled by one person who dedicated his energies to discrediting one of those schools. If u use head to head games between the three, u find HJ at 3-1, Silsbee at 1-2, and Kountze at 1-2. After tonite, someone will be 2-2 and someone else will be 1-3. If u use these numbers as an indicator and don't try to blame referees , location, etc etc isn't it fairly easy to arrive at
Fairly easy to arrive at we have 3 very good teams in this area, that love to hate each other. 2 of them are 3A, one is a 2A, all in the playoffs. Good luck to all the teams. I have seen them all play, even against each other. Silsbee and HJ each one against each other, and Kountze beat Silsbee once early in the season. HJ beat Kountze x2, but by very little, both were great games, Good luck to them all in the post season. -

Congrats to Hardin. I was not sure how this game would go, thought it would be close. Great job, keep up the hard work.

This Richard Milburn Academy is from Houston. Tough game for those girls, Hardin fans cheered for them when they scored. Hardin is young, only 1 Senior, 2 Juniors. Woodville is undefeated, and played in the State championship game last year, they are on a mission. Good luck to Hardin. Being this young and making it to the playoffs is great.

Although Texas's losses are against ranked teams, does this many losses in conference hurt their chance in the Big Dance?

I think they are capable of being better then that team. They have looked very good this year, and the bench players are playing well. If they can keep the turnovers to a minimum, everything should work out.
