These 2 boys were not recruited by Yates, my son played with them this summer on his AAU team.  They moved to Houston after living in Mission since Feb.  Good kids, with a lot to learn Only playing organized bb since Feb.  Sadiq is quite amazing to see.

Hardin has thrown at least 2 interc....2 fumbles....liberty is big and fast.  Hardins starting center out with ankle injury...is hurting..........

If the coach didn't want the parent there,  he wouldn't be.  Alot of the area coaches have some of the youth coaches come out to practice so they can show them a few things also. 

Hardin will improve, adjustments will be made.  This was the 1st scrimmage to see who does what and who plays where.  I am looking forward to seeing how this team improves this season.  The coaches saw some things to be worked on and areas of improvement.  The safety missed timed trying to intercept the ball at least twice with the receiver getting behind him, these things will improve.  Saw some of the younger ones step on on tackles as well.  I thought the QB looked pretty good, considering he was a RB last year. I think it looks promising.

Kelly did what they were suppossed to.  With I heard 18 seniors and a returning backfield.  Great job, they looked good. Coach Long did a great job when he was there to prepare these boys and the new coach should continue it.  I thought Hardin's JV looked better, but its all a matter of opinin since there is no scores.    Good luck against Liberty.

Hardin is pretty young, inexperienced.  4 sophs that played JV last yr that start.    6 Seniors.    5 returning off staters, about 8 returning def. Starters.  Lots of JV. Experience out there.  This is s group of hardworkers ready to learn.   

It will be a long season for Hardin IMO.    They lost a lot of senior leadership. . Lost 2. 1000 yd plus receivers.and the QB.  Kelly looks good, but did get beat a couple of times deep.  Kelly did dominate the line on both sides.

Kelly looks very good.  Big, strong, lots of speed.  Hardin is very young and small.  Saw a few bright spots.

He's right. Franchise 3T 15U is not very good.  And it's not jealousy.  It's great to see the kids putting work to get better. Beat who you should easily handle is fine. It's good competition. 

Nederland will have a good team for a few years. Great coach too.  Weren't most of the top high school AAU teams in either Orlando or Vegas this past weekend, playing in Nationals, Showcases or getting there for the Super 64?

I have seen Tony since he was a little boy on the track and in youth football.  He helped lead the Beamont Bulls to a Super Bowl trophy.  He is a very nice young man, very intelligent.  He has a great family influence.  Tony, we are so proud of you. AAW.    Very nice write up on Duane.      He deserves a shot at AD, he has been putting in work at Kountze.  He did a great job while at Hardn also.  Good luck Joub you know you have supporters around you wherever you are.

I wish the man well. I doubt anyone here wants to see him fal.  It is just strange to move a junior high coach to. Head C/ AD position.  I could even see having another coach there as AD and interim HC for the 1st year.  Most HS Head C have coached on the varsity leve.  Been a coordinator, etc.  Best of luck. Anyone have knowledge of the stats of middle school coach to AD jump in Tx?

Is he the St Annes middle school coach ?    Hired over the existing coaches there and some other coaches?  What's going on

There is a lot of that in AAU .  I'm ok with the GEs which are older kids that are in a grade.with younger kids either because of failing a school year or being held back because of maturity issues or athletic purposes.  It usually catches up to them, when the rest start catching up to them puberty wise. And it helps the kids who are playing in the correct age group, as they are already playing older, stronger players.

That is a slap in the face to not offer the AD to Joubert.  I am sure this will mean more changes to come.
