To the Brenham guys I apologize for the rift I just get a little passionate about our team and all the negative and unwarranted criticism they endure from past failures (Not by y'all). Periballo how proud you must be and according to the boys your son was a true and respectful competitor as well as the rest of the Lion Cubs. My son is #6 and had nothing but compliments and respect for Brenham and humbled me a little that there is a fine line between passion and being a fanatic. So tell them boys to hang their heads high cause they did leave it all on the field. May God bless you

Our defense isn't what they usually are but we're good on offense and far from a one trick pony. Mark my words, if you stack the box to stop Patterson, which eventually, you'll have to do, you'll see Hill connecting with Jaquay Cross. Cross wins a lot of jump balls. Just need to limit the turn overs and act like we've been here before. (Which we have ;) ) Our defense is gonna have to play their best and come up with a few stops. (Maybe suit Malcom Brown up again)

Not as impressive as the beating we gave them last year when they fielded the "#1 rushing offense in the nation", but a win is a win! Congrats, you guys will receive a third round exit as a consolation gift.

You see, Brenham and Dayton respect each other. We meet up before, during and after the games. I know guys that have dinner before and after. We have had some very memorable games over the last few years, and I would never post anything that was meant to offend anyone on the board. I never made a crack at Crosby until I was cracked on, and even then it was minimal. I'm hoping that both Brenham and Crosby do win this weekend. Rivalries are always good for the game of high school football. FRIENDLY rivalries. Not rivalries that people start making personal attacks on people AND their families. That's messed up. Let's keep it about the game on the field....about the kids. It's not about us on these forums trash talking each other, well knowing that the same kids that we are claiming to support are probably reading it. What kind of example are you setting for them. i happen to like Brenham to. Mainly because Dayton and Brenham have had some huge playoff games and the last 3 times they have met the winner has played for state. Make no mistake though if Dayton got to play Crosby or Brenham it would mean Dayton was in the regional finals and either team would be a fun game. Also unless I'm mistaking Perribollas son was the qb that took Brenham to the finals last year and he is back this year. He is a excellent football player and a Crosby Brenham matchup would be a good one.

Just for consistency of facts. Run ruled first game, 2nd game came down to last inning where Brenham had to score or extra innings. Brenham fans at that game were great and a little shocked. Think it was expected that you would run rule the second. Not that any of that matters to our game Saturday that I am focused on. So good luck to you.

Idk if you know it or not but there is a huge amount of respect between dayton and brenham, I usually keep track of brenham throughout the year to see how their team is doing, you can down brenham and the brenham posters all you want but they are actually a good group of people, I always look forward to playing brenham in the playoffs.
