1.
Then maybe they should have tryouts. In my opinion it doesnt get any better in eighth grade either. The stand out kids will play and the others will sit the bench. By ninth grade half that many will show up. The kids who always sit will more than likely wont play in high school. They are behind plain and simple physically and just knowing how to play the game. There are tryouts in baseball all the time. This is school ball not STJFL or Lone Star. Everyone had there chance to be on a team and play then when they were younger. Sorry if you passed it up. If you dont make it in 7th work hard and try again in the 8th. Everyone does mature at different times. It would teach the kids that hard work can pay off. But you have to work hard and pay your dues like the other kids did when they were younger. Unless your the kind who believes everyone kids a trophy.  JMO
1+ FOR U BIG DADDY ;)
 2. Jeff might be throwing the ball around ...Jam the T.E and let that D- Line go to work..Line backers will pick one in this game...21-7 Dogs
I would not say they are begging to quit, but they are confused just like everybody else..If  the Lumberton -B  coach was at the game (Sat) he seen that these coaches make zero adjustments on offence or defence, and he was there..I have seen this blue team play and have freinds that have tape on this team..I gave an opinon yesterday on what D to run but nothing has changed...The mistakes we made in the first 3 games have not been worked on in practice..[glow=red,2,300]Our head coaches philosophy is if he stops his program now HE will look stupid..I will stay with this win or lose ..This is out of his mouth[/glow]...Seems to me not a whole lot of concerns with what the kids are going through..All you can do is try to keep your kids postive, and hope and pray these guys do not take the passion of the game from some of these kids..Good luck Dogs and I hope  we can pull one out..Bubba Sonnier
That could burn em in the end.
Just because you have crowded the line of scrimmage doesn't mean you can't cover recievers trying to release.
That's the key. As long as your defensive backs remember their number one priority, Ned can still stack the box. Last year [glow=red,2,300]Vidor released the TE and Montana put it right on the money without a DB in sight.[/glow] As long as Spell preaches that this week, the Dogs shouldn't get burned. Quirante can put it on the money though so they better remember the pass. I'm sure that is going to be a focus of this week. I believe that's the only way Vidor beats Nederland, by catching them off guard. I just think Ned has too much size and speed defensively to be overpowered by the run.
Jam the crap out of him off the line...That should take care of the T.E..And let Stampley & Woods run back the pick 6 ;)
That's all that parents on the sidelines usually do, seeing as they ALWAYS think they know what should be done, especially when you lose.  They could care less that win or lose, [glow=red,2,300]the coaches are teaching them fundamentals of a game to prepare them for playing at the middle school and ultimately high school level. [/glow]  Just like they forget that youth coaches do it VOLUNTARILY, without pay, and give up a GREAT deal of time to do it.  Yet, for some reason, they expect to win every game. [glow=red,2,300]The #1 goal of coaching youth sports is to teach them to love the game so that they will continue to play it[/glow], not to satisfy little Johnny's momma and daddy on the sidelines.
Yes you are correct and this should not be asking a whole lot...
By the time Hunter figured out he wanted to play Jason had already found coaches..BUT I have tried to help and the coach does not want any help, I have offered DEF-play books and OFF- play books , I guess he does not need them..This is the first time in 12 yrs I had to sit and watch one of my kids on the side and it is very hard..I think these guys hearts in the right place ... I just don't think the knowledge of the game is there...I look at the parents on the side lines and wonder if they talk this bad about me when I am on the field with the kids( and trust me I know they do)..If any coaches from Ned-BLK read this their is a couple of coaches on the side that would help just ask they would be glad to help ...I am not bashing these coaches , I have talked to the coach and he knows how I feel..I am not a mad parent I am a confused coach sitting on the outside looking in...And just in case your not sure who this is its Bubba Sonnier...

 23.
Those injuries suffered by those other QB's were probably unavoidable and probably happend in the pocket.  Bellow wasn't a running QB, so I doubt that he got injured running.  With Raines at the helm, I would think Neumann would tell him to learn to slide instead of taking that hard hit.  No shame in that.
Bellow was running broke around the end and got to mid-field where the WOS linebaker was waiting ...And I almost lost my dinner and whiskey..Danny( DAD) was sitting next to me...If you run the spread you got to expect your QB to run every now and then...
