1. Who you got and why? I am taking Splendora in a close one.  Should have beat them the last time.  Splendora has been on fire lately and Huffman threw their number 1 pitcher in a loss to Shepherd on Friday. It is finally time for a changing of the guard in 22-3A and this is Splendora's year.
2. You can't win them all.  Hopefully this is a wake up call for them. Congrats Shepherd.  The sophomore pitcher is going to be very special.
3. Who pitched? I am assuming Splendora did not throw Stallings, since they have Huffman tomorrow.
4. Anyone know how it went?  Also, did Long throw for BH?
5. Menard is a great player, but Listi, from Huffman, is the best power hitter in the area.  If you have not seen him swing it yet, you need to.  Best of luck to all teams.  My prediction is Bridge City will win Region 3 if they stay healthy.
6. Good Job CS.  Come on WOS because that is the game people want to see next week.
7. Golden arm of Drake??? Where is Reed at?
8. Silsbee does not have more speed than Coldspring.  The running back for Silsbee is good and you are right he will punish you.  I just hope Huffman can withstand the punishment.  They have been known to be "soft"  8) in the past.
9.
Ok, so far from what I have read, both Silsbee and Huffman have better defense's than last year and their Offense's are not as good as last year. Silsbee can run the ball and Huffman has a good run D. Huffman can throw the ball and Silsbee has a good pass D. From what I have read on here it will not be a barn burner (scores in the fourtys) or a blow out from eather side. I believe it will be in the twentys, a good defensive game. I will play the homer roll and pull for the Silsbee Tigers, thats just how I roll. Go Tigers!!!
GREAT POST.  This will be a very evenly matched game.  Since I am pulling for 22-3A that is why I am taking Huffman by a TD.  These teams will bring out the best in each other.
10. I believe the score was 54-35.  Also that was a 5-5 Huffman team that got lucky to get into the playoffs vs a Silsbee team that was district champs.  This will be a good game and both team will be ready to play.  Good luck to all.
11.
What would be a good score in the WOS Cleveland game that would make you say that Cleveland represented 22-3a well?
What would you say would be a good score for WOS to say they had a good game?
12. Coldspring will win. Bridge City may score once and I have a feeling Coldspring will score more than one time.  Coldspring's defense is the best I have seen in a long time.
13. Should be a good one.  Huffman got their first win vs Silsbee last year.  Does anyone know if Reed is going to play or not?  I am taking Huffman by a TD. Their defense will tough for Silsbee to handle.  Good luck to both teams.
14. MEM you have no clue what you are talking about.  The sportmanship on both sides was great.  That is why after the game both teams were talking to each other and giving each other hugs.  Also, there is a mutual respect between both teams, and now they want to see each other go deep in the playoffs.  Once again this was the game of the year in 22-3A.  Congrats to both teams, Coldspring was just better.
15. Congrats to Cleveland on the big comeback. Can we all finally agree that Liberty is way over-rated and played a very soft non-district schedule.  They have some good athletes, but are weak in other positions.
16. You are right Coldspring has played more BIG games there.  Huffman has yet to be able to host a playoff game at home.  Therefore, they always try and help out and let someone from their district use it for 1st round games.  I am glad that Coldspring always seem to play their 1st round game in Huffman.  Hopefully they do it again this year. Tonight should be a good one, and will be the biggest game there since the one that opened it against Willis.
17. Seen Tarkington's team and they are pretty good.  However, I thought they were playing a JV schedule because of the sophomores they had on the team.  I know they played Coldspring's JV.
18. A few things we can all agree on: 1) Huffman has not seen any kind of speed that is even close to Coldspring 2) Coldspring has not seen a passing attack as good as Huffmans 3) Both teams will come out playing as hard as they can and will leave it all on the field 4) Both teams are well coached and will be well prepared What we cannot agree on: is it going to be a blow out or a close game. My prediction is one team will wake up Saturday morning being the district champs. Good luck to both teams and represent 22-3a well in the playoffs.
19. Coldspring is the real deal.  Have seen them twice this year and they move the ball up and down the field with their 1st and 2nd team.  Their Defense is extremely fast and has to be one of the best in the state.  Huffman has an outstanding defense, much better than last year.  Their offense is pretty good as well.  This should be a closer game than some people are expecting.  If Huffman shows up like they did against Shepherd expect it to get ugly fast. I believe this week the game is in Cleveland, because last week Cleveland was in Coldspring.
20.
I guess you really went to ONLY_ONE of DeBerry's games.... LOL!!!!
Are you directing something at me?  I am not the one who said anything bad about DeBerry.  You can see in other threads I am a big supporter of DeBerry and think Huffman has another good one with the one they have now.
21.
Well the way i look at is Huffman let Shepherd score 17 points so i dont think the defense is as good as they say it is. So Coldsprings will score 60 on them.
17 points.  I tought they gave up 14 and 7 was on a kick off.  Someone correct me if I am wrong.
22. He threw 8 picks (11 as a junior against a much tougher schedule) in 400 attempts.  I would not call that too many bad decisions.  Townley has 7 in 200 attempts.  No doubt that Townley is going to be very good, but I am not ready to say he is better than DeBerry yet.
23. Huffman's qb is good this year but not better than last years.  DeBerry threw for around 3500 yards and accounted for over 40 touchdowns.  Now I do agree with you that the D is better.  Coldspring is a better team this year.  They have a big line they can run behind, and a defense that swarms to the ball. I can't wait to see this game but it is also 3 Weeks away.
