1. Only seen St Pius once, vs Sealy.  They looked pretty good. Have seen St Thomas once, vs Strake, and they looked pretty good. I think it may be closer than people think.  I hope you are right about Coldspring vs Huffman being a good one.  Have seen the last two years and Huffman has played them pretty well.
You are way off if you think Liberty gest an automatic "W" against Tarkington. Splendora and Cleveland are out of the question. Liberty will likely have to beat Shepherd to avoid 0-10. Tarkington is at least as good as HF. The QB, RB, and WR for Tarkington are outstanding, especially the QB.
Have you actually seen Tarkington play?  The beat a bad Hardin team by 1 point.

 4. St Thomas is pretty good.  They should challenge St Pius.  Hopefully, this will only make Huffman better.  They need to pull it all together if they really want to challenge Coldsprings for district.
 5. Liberty will now pick up its 1st win.  Then they will beat Splendora, to move to 1-0 in district.

How can u be a leader when u are constantly late to practice and have a crappy work ethic,  I have my facts straight this is out of serval current coaches.  It all goes back to the leadership at the top. And u know who I am talking about.
How can you be late to practice when practice begins during school and ends after? Whoever this kid is with the crappy work ethic so the coaches tell you (doubt it).. if they think so little of him, why is he still playing? Ok, thought so.
I did not think he was talking about a kid. Beside the point.  Liberty needs a win this week. Let's go.

The shoulders of there 6'6 Qb
Is this a joke?  No way they beat Coldsprings.  They may sneak into the playoffs behind Coldsprings and Huffman. Then, I believe, they get a first round match up with WOS.  Not winning that one either.  Have a good day. ;)
smh all of yall are negative. Let's just see how the season goes. I also heard that the Soph. QB Standish is way better than Fitz FYI. I can't stand Huffman fans at all. Yall have no class what so ever
Not a Huffman fan.  Don't really know where that came from.  I really hope Liberty is 10-0 when they get WOS in the first round.  I doubt they will be, they are not beating Coldsprings.  Also, I don't believe Standish is better than Fitz yet.  He maybe by the time he is a senior, but not yet.

 9. Could not agree more GCMPats.  Also I only remember once them not getting an out on the bunt and the pitcher pulled the first baseman off the bag.
 10. Please show where I said winning is not important.  You said they weren't prepared.  I don't understand how they are not prepared when they have the number 2 team in the state on their heels.
 11. I did give you a loss in a big game because you can't win all the big games.  He also lost last night which was a big game. I am still waiting to hear what you define as a big game?
 12. Also, don't forget you just played toe to toe with a team that has been to the regional semi's 7 out of 8 years.
 13. Took them to playoffs 9 out of 10 years.  Also took them 4 rounds deep.  Beat Vidor in Vidor to snap their home winning streak.  The more important question is how many time has Dayton been to playoffs since he left?  I will answer for you NONE.  Some people do not realize what a good thing they have until it is gone. Also, I thought when Huffman was 4A, they beat PNG in the playoffs, then lost to Texas City 3-1.  I believe Texas City went to the state tournament that year.
 14. Also, does anyone know how many times Huffman has been to the 3rd round and what is the furthest they have been?
 15. So what do you consider big games?  I know he did some great things at Dayton.
 16. 1 that I know of.  They had a few in game 1 vs Orangefield.  I saw the first baseman drop another ball last night.  I don't know how you say they weren't prepared when they jumped out to a 5 run lead.  They pushed Bridge City more than any other 3A team this year.  Huffman kids, coaches, and parents should be proud of what they accomplished this year.
 17. It is just hard for me as a parent to put blame on the coach when you commit 5 errors. You would think if he has been like that all year the kids would be use to it by now.  I am not saying that it is never the coach's fault because I have seen some do some pretty interesting things, but at the same time I have never seen a coach field, throw, catch, or hit a ball.
 18.
Is no one talking about how bad huffman coach mismanaged a 5 run lead. Why bring in carver the lhp and not listi in the 5th with 1st and 2nd no out. Most athletic pitcher to get an out. Did he really just play 2nd base the entire game. He is a great player use him in teh right way. What about the panic mode the coaching staff was in the entire game. There is a reason BC was able to come back and the Huffman squad paniced with 5 errors. It starts and ends with a visor.
Congrats to Huffman on a great season.  Two questions for you, aggieballer96, have you watched a lot of Huffman games this year?  I have seen about 5 and Listi pitched in 2 of them, Orangefield and Klein Forest.  He seemed to have a lot of control issues.  Did I just catch him on a bad night? Also, DeBerry acted the same way in those games as he did last night.  I just thought he was always like that. Keep it going Cards and bring home the championship.
 19. Tonights the night.  Who you got? Going with BC 7-1. Good luck to both teams.
 20.
BC offered to let Huffman host all 3 games in order to play a series.  DeBerry wanted no part of it.
Are you sitting there while they flip? Maybe Huffman is scared.
 21. #16 - big tall kid, threw hard, but had control problems. #6 - threw a lot of strikes, had a decent little curve ball. Sorry don't know their names. I think they some people said the 1st one is a D1 pitcher.
 22. Yes Huffman at 7. Who is going to be on the mound for both teams?  Would think Permenter or Smith for Orangefield?  Not to sure about Huffman. Expecting a close one just like last night.  Two evenly matched teams.
 23. Going to take Huffman in 2.  Hopefully with the playoffs beginning they will get back to playing the ball they were at the begginning of the year.
