Great Game!!!! Both teams left it all on the field.  Good luck to Huffman in the next round. 

Stuckybowl, do you feel good calling out a high school qb.  I am pretty sure almost any team would take Huffman's qb.  According to max preps he has thrown 33 TD's and 6 INT's on 312 att.  That is about 1 INT in about 50 att.  You would be crazy not to take him.

CHS11 does not speak for all Coldspring fans.  Wish both teams the best of luck in the playoffs.  They should stay around a little while.

First great job to both teams.  A few bounces or calls the other way and this game could have been different.  Now, I was at the game, and have to say I was very surprised.  Huffman showed up to play and made us work for every thing.  We have went this whole year living on the big play and not having to change anything.  We had a team come into our place and seemed to know everything we were doing before we did it.  There were times they had 10 people around the line of scrimmage.  For someone to come on here and say Coldspring outplayed Huffman in many points must of watched a different game than I did.  The defenses were about equal.  We scored on about a 5 yard drive (had to convert a 4th down) and a kick off.  That is 2 TD's we actually scored.  They scored 2 TD's.  It was a very hard fought game and both teams deserve a lot of credit.  Wish they were in the same division for playoffs because I would like to see them play on a netural field. Great Job to Coach Barbay and his staff for the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP Great Job to Coach Mac and his staff.  Go represent 22-3A and take care of Silsbee.

Don't Cleveland and Huffman run two totally different offense's?  Also, have seen Cleveland this year and as of right now they do not look like the same Cleveland from last year.  Should be a good one here, so 21-14 Huffman.

He blew the call.  Everyone makes a mistake, and at least he admitted to it after the game.  He apologized to gallaraga and leyland.  Think about how bad the umpire feels when he gets up this morning. 

I would guess hashagan/hicks, key/zoch, whoever/whoever. If it goes 3 bc should have a big advantage. Doesn't huffman have a listi, I know his brother was a good pitcher.

I believe who ever makes it out of Region 3 alive will win state.  This is the toughest region by far.  Good luck to BC and Huffman.  Hopefully this will be a close series.

Not 100%, but I believe it is only about 15 to 20 minutes from Huffman.  So probably about as close as Nederland is to Bridge City.

what is going on with huffman, two straight losses, is it going to be another early exit for them

I did not see this on here and it happened to us today.  Do you have to report pinch hitters and pinch runners to the umpire before entering the game?  We were told you do not have to report them.  I was under the understanding you must report them to the umpire.  If you do have to report them could you give me the rule number if there is one.  Thanks.

I will say Huffman gets there first victory of the season.

I agree.  If they win then lose to WOS, everybody is like it is okay because it is WOS.  If they lose to Liberty, then lose to Bridge City, even though they have a good team, people will not understand how they lose to them.
