  1. Valastro will have the Bucs ready to play. Rusty Nail will have Mart ready also. Both of these coaches have great teams and both are great role models for the young people on their teams. EC must get pressure on the QB and Mart must defend the option. Weather does not look like it will be a factor. This one should be close with the winner making a strong run.
  2. Played in the Cy-Fair area and played at Pridgeon. It seats 12,000. That is pretty big Standing room is 15,000. That new stadium is awesome. Took them long enough to get around to building it though.
  3. So, what approach to weights do you like the best. Max out and work in reps of 10 at a certain percentage, pyramid the entire time, mix up the sets and reps and the percentages, etc. Which plan do you like the best? Also, how many days of the week do you run and do agility drills in your program.
  4. East Chambers has more speed then Hemphill, so that is a factor as it always is. Hemphill is very good on defense. Really run to the ball. I think EC will control the ball enough to keep Hemphill off the field and then if they feel they are behind and have to abandon the ground game it is to EC favor. Coach V and his staff will have the Bucs ready to play. Have to go with EC by 10.
  5. Tony Valastro at EC is a great choice for coach of the year. I also think that Coach Williams at Evadale has done a great job. Will not get coach of the year due to record, but has done a fantastic job.
  6. Who will they get in the first round?
  7. #44 from East Chambers is the best in the district. I have seen Deweyville and both of their inside backers are good, but #44 is better all around. Just my opinion.
  8. What programs do you think are up and coming so to speak. Underclassman, good jv teams or junior high teams. I know Jasper is very young this year on the varsity. Deweyville I think has alot of seniors - How is their JV?
  9. Lots of great coaches in the area. Tony Valastro ranks up there. State Championship at LG. Part of the state championship teams at Groveton and Waxahachie. 100 wins as a head coach. Also in the ranks - Barbay at Newton, Hooks at WOS, and Bickham at Carthage.
  10. This is a team to watch out for. Great coaching staff, great kids, and learning how to win the close games. Will be very salty for a coupld of years at least. Good luck Bucs.
